I haven't played with this program too much, but what I've done with it I've like. The free version is actually pretty useful for just adding watermark text to PDFs. The only suggestions I have are that you can't manually change the angle; you have to use a "dial" and it's a bit of a crap shoot. The other is the placement of the text, it seems to be a bit off.

All that being said, I actually sent feedback to the developers and they responded within 24 hours thanking for my feedback and responding directly to my suggestions. To me, this is what makes a good product great - the people behind it. I'm much more willing to overlook missing features and other minor gripes when I know the people who've developed it are actually listening and willing to do what they can to help.

I've loved using Singlemizer for quite a while now but I think version 3 is a step backward. I used to be able to exclude folders from my search so, for example, if I were scanning the Documents folder I could tell it to ignore a specific sub-folder within that which I know will always return results I don't care about (Microsoft User Data). I like things to be simple, but I also like to have options.

Perhaps this review is a little premature as I've just installed the program, but so far it seems to be working well and I haven't had the issues mentioned in some of the other comments, namely that it doesn't retain the changes after restarting.

When I installed this, I chose the option to "Install for all users". Then, I selected the apps I wanted to show, I clicked "Apply" and then "Refresh" and it made the appropriate changes. I rebooted my computer, launched LaunchPad and initially it showed "Loading Applications" and then it showed it just as I had set it up, i.e. only the apps I had selected in Launchpad Control were in my LaunchPad - just as I wanted it. I will write a follow-up should I notice any glitches but so far, so good.

Yeah - my review was premature. It was working for a day or so but now, the apps are all back to default and this preference pane resets itself every time. Conceptually I'd still give it 5 stars. 1 or maybe 2 stars on implimentation.

With the recent updates, this has been working flawlessly for me so I'd go back to my 5 star rating. I've restarted multiple times and still my preferences are saved. Highly recommended app!

Mini$ is a wonderful program and I think I've finally found a replacement for Microsoft Money on my PC. It does everything I need it to do and it does it well.

The developer has done a great job and really listens to the input of those who use it...he truly wants to develop a quality piece of software.

This software makes blogging extremely simple and it works with a number of platforms. On top of it being great software, the support behind the product is top-notch and very personal. At $17.95 this software is a steal and well worth it. They are currently in the works of a Universal Binary edition but the current version works quite well under Rosetta.
