If I were to spent $29.99(MU $9.99) on a utility such as this, it would be for MacKeeper. Of which I already have. My question is, why are so many trying to reinvent the same programs.?? Isn't that getting somewhat close to piracy...???

jusher7281, Ive been using MacKeeper since it first came out, on 7 different Mac laptops and desk tops and have had no problems. I have been using Macs since 1986 and I have found that the best majority of problems with software are the users.

I put MacKeeper on the same order as MacPilot. An extremely useful program in the hands of someone that knows what they are doing or at least has enough common sense to find out what to do before they do it. On the other hand it can be rather destructive in the hands of those that don't know what they are doing and lack enough common sense to inquire before doing.

I am not in any manner implying that MacOptimizer is a bad program, if I did I would be lying as I have not used it and since having, using and trusting MacKeeper, I really don't plan to. My initial comment was just that.. a comment that it just kind of irks me, that when a program comes out that is really good at what it does and is profitable, everybody and their brother jumps on the bandwagon trying to get their share. Just my opinion, and you know what they are like... everybody has one...

Regardless of what program that you decide to get of this type, and as many as there are out there, it is necessary.. Just try to cut through all of the glorification that each programmer/company writes about their product and compare the product. If there is something that you don't understand, bone up to the fact that you don't know and ask before you do...

Ya know Maxter, it's people like you that keeps a lot of good comments and discussions from happening. The majority of people do not appreciate having a situation and their words twisted, so they just keep it to themselves instead of feeding your hypocrisy. Unfortunately I didn't realize MU comment had one... Don't worry, this may have been my first posting/comment here(not a review as you so stated), and as long as you are leeching around here it will be my last. I'll keep my 25yrs of experience to myself... Foxtrot Oscar... EOL...
