I've used Shimo under Snow Leopard and loved it. Since Lion, it's been unusable for me. I bought the deal today to add it to another Mac, hoping the problems had been resolved. But nope.

Shimo fires up, says its connected to my office's Cisco VPN system, and even gets me an IP address that I know to be in the range of the system at the office. But nothing works. Web browsing -- whether intranet sites for which I need the vpn, or external sites on the greater internet -- never open. It's almost like it has no idea where to look for the DNS information.

A waste of $12.99 that I pretty much only spent because of Shimo's integration with Keychain (OS X Lion's built-in VPN client works flawlessly with the work system, but requires my password every time. I bought Shimo primarily so I wouldn't have to enter it).

Oh, well.
