To Anonymous: "ipinmenubar", which you mention, only shows me my LAN IP; so it's quite useless. "IP" shows me both.

The last review was mine, I forgot to write my name, sorry.
But I just want to say a good thing: StuffItDeluxe8 on my box didn't produce any KernelPanics as mentioned in other threads(threats) here. Neither the useless AVR thing nor the menu part of StIDL. But I don't have to install software just to have no NEGATIVE effect on my OS. To whom it may concern: pay your programmers a little bit more money and maybe they'll do their job. Maybe. Or leave the whole thing to people who already know their job.
Thanks for your great software.

once more: various stuff-things in progress, then I had to reboot, all proggies quit kindly, but not … you already guess … stuffit; one progress window stayed alive on the shutdown screen till the very last moment. Incredible. I'm growing angry. Compressed dmg-images are the better solution: faster, more confortable and without any probs. In theory it's a good compression program, but unusable if you have to compress more files than one.

To anonymous: This software is "right" already, but the author is improving it also. I wish some other software companies would do this ... Nobody forces you to download every single update.

Anonymous, you are missing something: the point is that you can (and should) customize it to search in your prefered search engines, *not* only in Google! - Anyway, meanwhile it has been assimilated by Ambrosia :-(

if you experience any probs: install 061 and get the PithHelmet.bundle (http://hiredgoons.com/osd/PithHelmet/PithHelmet-0.6.2-27.tgz), install it as described and everything is fine. Sometimes things are just so easy.
