I tried this over the weekend and had to uninstall it. After installing the software, I had a memory leak and my computer would not go to sleep automatically. I uninstalled the software and these problems went away. Since other people have not had these problems, I assume that the NTFS software had problems interacting with other software on my computer.

I've been using VirusBarrier X6 for a while now and am generally happy with it (a good way to renew is to find a retail copy on sale cheap, buy it, and use the serial number to renew your subscription). The upgrade to 2013 Internet Security was not very clear in that Intego is not posting what features got removed or modified in the new version. Here is what I found in using both X6 and 2013 versions, and discussions with the (helpful and responsive) Intego tech support.

While Intego has simplified the user experience, they also removed some functionality, which may or may not be important (this list may not be everything but it is what I was interested in)

The new suite does log activity but does not allow the user to save logs
Trojan Horse protection moved from X6 firewall to 2013 VirusBarrier
Unclear if X6 Anti-vandal functions are still in 2013 NetBarrier
2013 NetBarrier does not have web threat protection feature (was in VirusBarrier X6)
Whois and traceout removed (redundant to Mac OS X Network Utility)

With is application, I can view YouTube videos but cannot download them. When I try downloading, I get the error:
Download failed Error - The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1102.)

Looks to be a good application if the download worked

I done using this application for a while. First, like many other people, I get Phantom Finder Windows when I first boot. Second, upon booting, my Finder windows get reset to "All My Files". Very annoying. These problems started happening with the last update. Hopefully they get fixed soon but for not this application is more aggravating than useful.

And to submit a problem description, they want me to use my Google or Facebook login on a website I have never heard of. Not going to happen.
