I recently had a problem with my MB. It simply continued to restart... never allowing me to login. On the advise of Disk Genius support I ran repair 10x then rebuild 10x. Each resulted in a FAILED message back along with a number of errors. I was able to login to my MB though.

Disk Genius tech support replied.

Could you tell us more about what happen to the drive?

Drive Genius has great success in repairing Drives, but like any other utility there may be some
situations that severely damaged drive may not be corrected.

If repair or rebuild did not work, we would suggest to use Data Rescue II and recover your data then
use Drive Genius to reinitialize your drive.

I'm happy to report that even though DG did not have success in my case Disk Warrior did. I ran it once and it found & repaired alot of errors.

I'm not saying DG is of no use...it just didn't work for me in this case.

If V1.8 works with Garman's MapSource software communicating with a USB Etrex Legend GPS then they've got a sale.

Doesn't look like there is a demo.... Can anyone confirm the above.
