Can we please get a link to the JDK as well? It would be very helpful.

Thanks SLK, I am asking for the link to be added to the JRE listing or for macupdate to add a separate listing for the JDK.

Kudos to the developer!

I had changed over to Google Public DNS until I used this app and found out that both OpenDNS and Verizon's DNS were actually faster from my location.

After a bit of fiddling with my settings, namebench confirmed that I had optimized my conection.

Very useful tool (could use better progress indicators though).

The AdSubtract filters are being ported to GlimmerBlocker. See the GlimmerBlocker Custom Filter page for more details.

Well written, responsive developer, does the job.

Yes, update to 1.0.2. The change was because some people found that 1.0.1 only launched some of the time on a restart.

Until Apple addresses the problem, this is the most elegant solution.

An option to Exclude Apple Provided Packages (or mark them with a *) would be great. That way, I can go through all the 3rd party software installed without accidentally looking at OS stuff.

I have a free app from Ben Shanfelder that looks the same and does the same thing.

Is this a coincidence?

Interesting, but I am put off by the 50mb limit. I am a voice actor and often move around files larger than that.

I wanted to tell this to the developer but could find no contact link on either localhostr's page or the home page of the developer. That made me even less likely to use this widget.

I think the widget is beautiful and this is a great use of the dashboard, but without a valid/simple method of contacting the developer, I can't put something this important to my home business in the hands of this product.

Let's stay away from the uninformative whining of the recent posts. here's some real data for you if you are considering updating:

Version 10: works with widgets that play realaudio streams even if you switch back out of Dashboard

Version 11: stops realaudio streams when you switch back to the desktop

Even if it is not officially labeled a beta, version 11 is still not feature complete until this is fixed.

Hopefully, readers will find this a useful comment, since it actually talks about the software instead of whining or simply being a "me too".

Wonderful work! Simple to configure, hotkey to temporarily disable, dimming desktop mode... all very nice!

I've just disabled Spaces and decided to use HideItControl in Single Application Mode instead. Great work!

I've been installing, playing with, and waiting on VirtualBox for a while. With version 1.6, it's come of age!

Absolutely gorgeous! Bravo!

WebTV stations stopped working after upgrading RealPlayer to the current version. Downgrading to v10.0 brought back functionality.

Hopefully, 1.2.2 will address this.

Aside from that, incredible app!
