@House of Scorpio sorry for implication was not intended. I just get worried about Mobile Data stuff at the moment as their seems to be so much Data Harvesting going on without users knowing.

For all those people "moaning"....

If you run a mission critical environment and you are that busy then don't update deep system stuff until you know an update works correctly and do it out of hours. As such it would be VERY obvious that you updated and then are having network problems to think that LS was causing issues....as well it is a network filter and you were having network problems.

This is a fantastic product and very rarely has any issues. As it happens i did update a few test machines without problems but i always wait a week or two before deploying to other machines.

I did not CLAIM it to be a network problem, i merely said that if you HAD network problems AFTER you installed LS 2.3 or 2.31 it is obvious that LS was causing the issue and you should disable/Uninstall. It is likely that the issue is a problem/conflict with another element that is installed as on cleanish systems there are no issues.

Have they fixed the Exchange Sync issue.....mmmmm...hope so....sort of important for millions of BUSINESS users....have had countless support calls and people missing appointments...back to using a hand written diary...nice one Apple.

So far so good it has ripped/backed up 10 DVD's no bother so far.
I then convert to MP4 Apple TV setting for my media centre using Handbrake. It is quicker converting from Hard disk file rather than DVD and less strain on my Macbook pro drive which i am sure will break just like every other laptop i have had !

spectral7 had trouble on 02 Mar 2006
installed as instructed. my system is now scewed. It kept crashing menu bar and keyboard shortcuts.

Ran the 10.4.5 combo rebooted to black screen.

Now disk wont mount....also B tree knakered.
Use with exteme care !
