I have been a long time user of MailPlane. With 3.0 the developers have done an outstanding job of accommodating all the changes Google has made to GMail.

They have added the ability to remove the password from the app without storing it in Keychain. For those that use 1Password this is a tremendous benefit. They made jumping to the top and bottom of the compose window brain-dead easy (cmd-up arrow/cmd-down arrow). Finally, the developers are very responsive to ideas and feature requests. I have been very pleased with all aspects of MailPlane 3.0.

The app is far more than simply Fluid-like standalone browser window with numerous small attention to details Safari can't match.

Well supported by thoughtful and accommodating developers, this software is simply the best. As I complete my dissertation I'm always pleased to see what new features it has been given. Additionally, with the change to 6.6 the developers were very generous to existing users. Such a delight, and so well crafted, worth every penny.

This is quite simply outstanding software well thought out, well designed, and well supported. From the ability to create passwords via the plugin, to the plugin having search capability this app is everything you need for password management across Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch and Android (although I have not used it on that platform). The implentmation of cmd- to look up and login to any stored site is awesome. They support industry standards such as AES and make corrections as soon as errors or new attacks are found, see here:

The ability to sync with Dropbox is more important than most people realize mainly for the reason they state here:
http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/sync_solutions.html

Because of these and other features, including support for 1Password’s unique Mac-based “file bundle” format, Dropbox is a great choice for syncing your 1Password data file between all your computers. In fact, 1PasswordAnywhere works great from Dropbox’s website! Here’s how you can configure Dropbox syncing on your Mac.

An aside, most people don't know that dropbox also performs block level updates, so changes to a 200mb photoshop file don't result in 200mb re-upload, only the parts that change are re-uploaded. Same goes for 1Password and any updates it does to your keychain. This lowers bandwidth consumed as well as data costs overall when quotas are under mobile plans.

I have had questions for 1Password support staff as well regarding particularly tricky logins. They have always responded within 24 hours with the correct reference online or suggested solution in email.

There is simply no better way to manage passwords and critical personal information, such as Software Licenses, Credit Card info (in case you need to call to cancel lost cards as well as painless entry into web forms, and various Router, FTP, SIP, IM or account identities.

The help files are detailed if you read them, and they will help on features such as Autosubmit (which is a preference setting in the app, as well as per entry via the plugin by clicking on the > beside the site). Users of the iOS version can also login as Demo to show the app off to friends and clients without compromising their own information.

This app is worth every penny, and will be supported for a very long time. All purchasers from the MAS will be upgraded to 4.0 free when it is released. It is essentially a slam dunk for password management across all platforms and devices. You will not be sorry to spend the ~$50 they are charging. I wish all of my apps worked this well.
