Customer support sucks, they seem to be implementing planned obsolescence, blaming Apple. They seem to me to be on a similar corporate track that Blockbuster Video was, politely penalizing its customers, which is not sustainable.

Their website, while lavish in marketing hype and oversize images, offers little tangible support for diagnosing problems nor step by step clarity.

A bit disappointed, nice start but lacking especially with basic, essential functionality.... iTaskX cannot SORT TASKS BY START DATE, no any other table columns. I bought it thinking this is basic feature, so be sure to thoroughly test before spending $115 bucks.

avoid this product, can corrupt your HD plus you can do everything in the Finder. Customer support nonexistent

Definitely abandon ware including abandoning the customer. Started out as a great product out of Canada but the pay for upgrade (most bug fix not functionality nor features). It does not offer anything you can't easily do in Lion except maybe tags which can be easily done with freeware or simple scripts, plus the user interface in awkward and cumbersome in many ways.

Stay away... this is one of those developers who wrote a program for a very specific function and charges way too much, then the very specific function becomes freely available elsewhere and they continue to milk cash by not changing or adding much over the years and again charging way too much for tiny incremental upgrades. They prey on the unsuspecting.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, AFTER RECENTLY WASTING $25 NOW THEY WANT $10 MORE FOR A SIMPLE UPDATE (BY MOVING TO APP STORE AS THEY ONLY WAY TO UPDATE). AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'M DELETING THIS APP AND WRITING OFF MY $25. TRY TAGS INSTEAD, A MUCH BETTER MORE EFFICIENT APP WHICH DOES THE SAME THING.

The show stopper for me is that it cannot search for tags.... but I like the GUI & HUD approach, and it has some clever features. I really like Tembo (wish it had HUD)...

Great concept but not yet ready for prime time. After only a few minutes came across basic functionality issues. For example, refused to import .tif files until I changed to .tiff. No way to empty trash from within program. Basic functionality. I'm inclined to buy but don't want to spend a lot of time importing, organizing, etc., only to come across a game changer....

Also discovered tags are internal to sparkbox, not metadata, or at least does not play well with other tag programs. This is a must have for me to purchase (why waste time if not universal tagging).

If dev is following this thread, I think a great feature would be to allow user to 'link' original capture with subsequent versions... I think many photographers import from camera, open in photoshop, save as (to keep original plus version) etc... but it is often hard to track original with versions.. this is sort of like 'stacks' in aperture...

I have not downloaded nor used this program yet, but I have a basic productivity question. In list view, does iDocument have a column which shows 'tags' for each file, and can the user then make multiple file selections to apply (and/or delete) a tag in one fell swoop? Your reply is appreciated.

Watch out, this company makes it a policy to abandon long standing users and then charge for simply waiting for them to fix their software (without adding useful features I might add). I have previously spent great deal of buy time trying to work out issues with them but their customer service is one of the worst I've encountered in 20 years as a Mac user. Sometimes lousy customer service trumps buying software.
