Download link fixed. That's what I get for using free hosting, I suppose.

BetterTouchTool: So very, very much more powerful than this, and infinitely more free.

Hi all,

Unfortunately, it seems that Lion has made changes to Smart Folders that cause Tag Folders to break. As some of you may have noticed, I have not been very active for some time on this software. The amount of time it would take to update Tag Folders to work with Lion while also maintaining backwards compatibility with Snow Leopard and below is simply more than I can spare at this time in my life. Therefore, I'm afraid I must end my work on Tag Folders.

If anyone wants to take up development of the software, please do! It is, after all, GPL software. If you do, please post a link to your new and improved version here on MacUpdate so that we can all find it.

For those of you still running Snow Leopard and below, the software will continue to work as is. For those of you upgrading to Lion, I recommend looking into other OpenMeta software. You can get a list of such software at http://code.google.com/p/openmeta/wiki/OpenMetaApplications. I personally enjoy Ali Rantakari's Tagger and TagLists.

Thanks again to everyone who used Tag Folders, and even more thanks to all of you who reported bugs, suggested new ideas, submitted fixes, and so on. Without you, this software would never have been a fraction as useful as it was. Cheers to you all, and happy tagging!

Jon

Is this for real? There are a zillion ways to get free access to the KJV. Try BibleGateway.com, for example, to get free access to heaps and heaps of Bible translations.

... or just add your Gmail account to your existing email application. But hey, people, whatever floats your boat.

The developers are within their rights to charge for the software. This right is specifically granted to them under the GPL.

On the other hand, anyone who obtains a copy of NeoOffice 3.2 will be within his or her rights if they decide to distribute copies of the software without charge.

So if you don't want to pay for NeoOffice 3.2, just be patient and wait for someone to post a copy of the software for download on some other site or via BitTorrent or something. That will be 100% legal.

... Or just add your Facebook chat account to iChat. Easy and free. Just search for "facebook ichat" to find instructions.

This works nicely, and will be useful on my home media machine. More configuration options (text colour, background colour, etc.) would be great to have in future versions. Thanks for sharing your work with us all!
