This is a great program when it works. The problem is that it rarely works. It almost never automatically launches itself when you plug your iPhone into your Mac, even if you've checked the checkbox for it to automatically launch itself. So therefore, your PhoneView data is usually out-of-date for a very long time until you manually remember to launch PhoneView, which copies your data from your phone.

Great plug-in for Mail!! Couldn't live without this one!! There is one minor bug with this plug-in running under Mountain Lion (sounds don't play 100% of the time), but besides that, this plug-in is perfect! :)

Couldn't get this app to work at all. Went through all the troubleshooting steps on their website, but my iPhone 4S still could never see my MacBook Pro. Contacted their technical support department, and they were unable to help. Bad app, bad support.

Best calendar app for the Mac. What more can I say that hasn't said before by the award-winning 5-star reviews in MacWorld Magazine and Mac|Life Magazine? BusyCal is the #1 best calendar app for the Mac... it beats all the competition hands-down. Not to mention the fact that BusyCal can seamlessly sync your calendars over a LAN, and seamlessly sync over a WAN (even if some of your computers are periodically offline), and seamlessly sync to Google Calendars, and seamlessly sync to MobileMe, and seamlessly sync to your iPhone. And the tech support for this product is absolutely the BEST tech support in the entire Mac industry. This is a class-act product by a class-act team of Mac developers. All other Mac apps should strive to be as great as this app. There is simply no comparison.

Bravo!! Wonderful!! Excellent!! This program is outstanding!! This program, along with the company's ChronoAgent software, is wonderful for backing up an entire network of Macs!

After 8 months of total hell with unreliable and incomplete backups with Retrospect 8 (see my posts in the EMC Retrospect 8 forum under the name "scotty321" for all of my hell with the product, along with the hundreds of other users who are also having problems with this product), I have FINALLY found my replacement backup software and am now gladly & happily saying goodbye to Retrospect for good!

I am now using ChronoSync and ChronoAgent for my backup software!

I'm using them successfully at multiple different office locations, including one office location that has 17 Macs on their network. ChronoSync and ChronoAgent work absolutely flawlessly on a nightly basis to backup multiple computers onto multiple external hard drives.

In fact, ChronoSync and ChronoAgent do EVERY SINGLE THING that Retrospect 8 does (except backup Windows clients)... but they do it elegantly, they do it with better error reporting, they do it with a much better user interface, and they do it with significantly better pricing as well. You can backup an entire network of 25 Macs for only $190, with no upgrade fees ever!

So, goodbye for life, Retrospect... you have burned way too many bridges with me and have caused me way too much grief for any one person to have in their lifetime.

And hello again, old friends at econtechnologies.com! Thank you for giving us the best backup software in the Mac industry!!

BUYER BEWARE: Witch for Mac OS X has been discontinued and is no longer being supported by the developer. Do not spend $$ on Witch for Mac OS X, because the bugs in the product will NOT be fixed.

Company is completely unresponsive to customers. Development stopped on this product in November 2008. Have tried to email tech support several times over the last month in regards to bug fixes -- ZERO response from the company. Cannot recommend this product at all.

This product does not work properly with Leopard's Spaces. When you use Witch's keyboard shortcut to cycle through ALL of your applications when Spaces is active, Witch won't show you all of your applications from the OTHER spaces. It shows you SOME of your applications from the other spaces, but not ALL of your applications from the other spaces. You actually have to switch over to that other space first and THEN use the keyboard shortcut to cycle through those applications that are located in that space. But then the same problem crops up over there -- the applications from the PREVIOUS space that you were in don't all show up again.

Emailed tech support many times over the last month... no response.

Do not support these developers or this product!

We've been using Keyboard Maestro since the very first version came out in 2001, and this program just keeps getting better and better as time goes by. We can honestly say that a Mac just wouldn't be a Mac without Keyboard Maestro running on it. If you like using your keyboard to control your Mac, Keyboard Maestro is a must-have utility. The technical support is excellent, the program is continually updated with new features, bug fixes, and OS compatibility, and the program is just a sheer delight to use for just about anything that you can think of doing with your keyboard. Keep up the great work, Stairways Software.
