The new version is rubbish.

Alarms often don't work.

The Awaken Helper as a separate download is a mess.

Also, I have had to keep the PKG handy as it vanishes constantly & I have to reinstall it.

Waist of money.

Very cool app - All left to chance - Just like the cameras it replicates - Infinite possibilites apparently - Just remember to save the ones you like or they are lost forever.

Little expensive compared to the iPhone app, but it works with high res images to its not too bad.

A very cool edition to the TaskPaper experience.

The quickjot function is the only reason I keep using this app.

Like others have said it appears to have been abandoned.

I contacted the developer about improving their sync to use Dropbox or Simplenote as exporting from Shovebox is messy.

They said thanks for the suggestion & thats it.

That was months ago.

If Evernote used a Quickjot style utility I would delete Shovebox.

Very disappointed with this developer.

I finally got an answer from the developer saying that an update for Shovebox is currently being worked on but no date for release as of yet.

I'm not holding my breath, but I really don't want to abandon QuickJot

Was looking for something like this for google talk.

BUT it wont let me sign in to google.

Keeps telling me my username is incorrect.

Deleted it.

Shame.

Its so reassuring to have this app running in the background, not only for crashes, but also for human error.

Sure it slows down the odd time, but its only a few seconds to wait & I'm sure the developer is aware of it and is working on it.

The free upgrade to v2 cannot be beat.

This combined with Dropbox is all the reassurance you need for project files.

Probably the app I use the most on my Mac.
Just perfect.

A perfect app.
Simple, clean, elegant.

Some great themes available also (I like the Helvetica one).

Seeing as it outputs a text document it can be shared with anyone.

You might want to rethink your price point after final cut pro X is released
