Absolutely excellent with great tech support!!!
[Version 4.5.3]

No upgrade price.... you're going to lose most of your customers.

You've certainly lost me.

When my current version of LittleSnapper is nolonger supported in the OS.... I'll definitely buy another product from another developer. Lots of competition for this kind of app and with the "slap in the face" of no upgrade price.... it's enough to make previous customers look elsewhere.

Great app but Get Info doesn't show that it's version 4.5.2

Strange... though Get Info didn't show 4.5.2 version number... once the app is placed in the Apps. folder the view column does show that this is indeed version 4.5.2

Insane number of updates for this app just to 'bump' himself to the top of MacUpdate and other sites.

Even though the app is fine... the support... he still hasn't got back to me after a week!!! and the unethical update practice that's been going on for years forces me to give this app a very low rating.

And yes... I am a paid user.

Their tech support sucks.
They still have not got back to me now after over a month.

Horrible (i.e. non-responsive) tech support.
I emailed them many days ago and have not even received so much as an automatic response over a problem I was having. I finally just had to figure it out myself.

Excellent... as always!

Now if the feature to change the 3D dock to a 2D dock were to be added back...

Hopefully soon?

Don't know why Apple doesn't allow for this since the 3D dock makes it more difficult to identify the icons.

I'm a long time user of 1Password (virtually since it was created).

Never have I seen such a buggy release as version 4.

I wanted to wait a while thinking that there would possibly be some incompatibilities but after emailing AgileBits about the upgrade cost and having them reply that it would only be for a short while longer (rather than giving me an exact date that it would no longer be available) I downloaded version 4 and installed it.

What a mess!

Bugs... bugs... and more bugs!

While I believe I have always given 1Password 5 stars... I must give 1Password 4.0.5 only 1 star.

If you are having better luck I'm glad for you, but for me it has been a major PITA!

Make sure to read the very long thread on the Apple U2U forum before installing this update...

The update has major bugs!
[Version 11.1]

Worst update EVER!!

Do not download this 11.1 version before you read the posts on the Apple U2U forum.

iTunes will now put hundreds of OLD podcast listings in to your Podcast play lists and THERE IS NO WAY TO DELETE THEM!!!

Worst bug I have ever seen in iTunes in the entire time that iTunes has existed.

The old listings have the cloud icon so they can only be streamed (not even downloaded).

So now you have to scroll through all of these old, already listened to, listings to find the one podcast you are looking for.

I often end up with videos that won't play and are just black when clicked on.

Any solutions?

If Dropbox hangs or crashes your Finder (it did for me and there are posts that it has done this for other users)... especially when Control-clicking for contextual menus... substitute a locked textedit file for the DropboxPlugin.plugin (~/Library/Contextual Menu Items/DropboxPlugin.plugin) with the exact same name.

It would be much better, of course, if the authors simply allowed the user to either disable the plugin or trash it, but there is no preference setting that will disable it and the plugin recreates itself if it is deleted.

Console will show you that it is this plugin if your Finder is crashing...
Console > Log Files > CrashReporter

Hope this helps.

Absolutely do NOT install this BETA if you watch Hulu or use Click-to-Flash.
It WILL break them!

Safari is one of the VERY few browsers to be ICC version 4 compliant.

Go to this URL in Chrome, Firefox, etc. to see what I mean...

I went to purchase this through PayPal and the price is $7.49 instead of $5.00!!!

What gives?

Makes me very concerned about buying this. Fifty percent more than is listed? NOT GOOD!

First off... this is a great app!
Unfortunately version 5.9.5 broke the ability to scroll the layers of a Dock.
Also simply reverting to 5.9.4 would not allow this feature either UNTIL I had trashed all of the DragThing preference files.
Just a heads-up.
FWIW... I have never had this problem before with any of DT's updates.

No surprise to anyone that has used this app for any time at all is the fact that the developer very quickly emailed me as to how, with a couple clicks and an Apple script that he provided, I could restore the ability to scroll to change Dock layers in DragThing.

Great app and superb tech support!!

Thanks James.
