I just opened chromium for the first time since upgrading to OS X maverick. When it opened it asked for permission to control my computer. Why does it need to do that? Safari nor Firefox requests that access in the privacy & security system preference.

Thx Mrtomato. I denied it permission also. I just found it odd that Chromium requested this permission. Unless it has something to do with an extension.

@JCH2, I fully understood that. And yes, I just denied permission and reopened it and it worked fine. It was just a question as to why it would need to ask that considering Firefox, Safari and Opera did not request that. Not complaining, just curious.

I've tried every twitter desktop app over the past couple of years looking for one that satisfied my taste. Full keyboard control was #1 on my list of things I looked for. Filters being #2. No matter which app I tried I always returned to Yorufukurou's twitter app. Yorufukoru was/is unsurpassed for keyboard control AND filtering by any other twitter app I've tried. Even when I used the Alpha and Beta versions of Tweetbot they kept me reaching for my trackball/mouse more than I wanted to and filtering was almost nonexistent. I still kept returning to Yorufukoru.

Tapbot's Tweetbot for Mac finally left beta and was released as a paid final version. I had a big decision to make. Risk that the improvements to the final version be enough to warrant buying it and be satisfied and set Yorufukoru aside or get disappointed, lose my money and still again return to Yorufukoru?

I decided to take a chance and bought Tweetbot for Mac a few days ago. I must say I'm impressed with the improvements to the final release. The keyboard control comes in an extremely close second only to Yorufukoru. Good enough for my liking. Filter still doesn't match Yorufukoru's but again it is good enough for what I want.

I REALLY like Tweetbot for Mac. Enough so that I haven't opened Yorufukoru but only once since I bought tweetbot and that was on the first day when I bought tweetbot and wasn't fully familiar with it's improvements over tweetbots beta. Thanks Tapbot for a GREAT twitter app! :D

How well does Hands Off play with Glimmerblocker? Been using Littlesnitch but the workaround to get it to work with Littlesnitch is not hard to do but can be for a non-tech person.

I'm on a MBP with 10.7.2 Lion and 4 gigs of ram. I really like this app but one down side is it eats up a lot of memory. After 6 or 7 songs in it's using 1gig+ of real memory. I would also like to know if it uses iTunes "Sound Check" volume leveling settings.

Is it possible to incorporate Ad Cookie removal. For example a website uses say "5" cookies but "1" is an Ad cookie? Would be a nice addition.

Nice! I figured something in the cookie would tell it's an Ad Cookie. To accumulate a list and keep it update may to much of a hassle to bother with. I know setting the browser preference to NOT accept 3rd party cookies helps stop some Ad cookies. Just today Macworld posted an article helping titles "Protect your privacy: browse the Web safely" which is helpful. Link to article http://is.gd/JjbPmo

I used Safari Cookies since it came out. Was hoping for a port to extention so I could remove SIMBL but guess its not do-able. After the long great support by the developer I bought Cookies a week ago (Feb 24). Works great and SIMBL is GONE. :D Its easy to use, its stable, has the features I need/want and worth the price. Now it handles Google Chrome (which I rarely use) cookies. I use Firefox as secondary browser so hopefully support for FF cookies is planned then I can remove FF's extension "CS Lite cookie hander". 5 stars from me easy.

I tried DVD Hunter for the first time yesterday. I've been using DVDPedia for a few years now so have a large collection in DVDPedia. I tried imported into DVD Hunter from a DVDPedia 5.1.2 exported .dvdpedia file but the import failed. Any idea what I can do to get importing to work or why it failed?

Being quadriplegic and heavily dependent on keyboard shortcuts and having to remember so many I love Keycue. But ever since Firefox version 3.0.8 and every version up to 3.5.1 it causes firefox to crashes constantly when executing a shortcut., I had to turn keycue off. Once I did that firefox stopped crashing. Don't recall this happening w/ Firefox 3.0.7 and before. Any help would be appreciated.

Actually I discovered today after tinkering if you set (For menu shortcut: press CMD twice and hold) and (For system-wide shortcuts: press CMD twice and hold) then Firefox stops crashing BUT then when holding CMD to see the shortcuts window it doesn't always show.

I tried this today on my intel macbook C2D. As the readme said, I created a new folder named "Services" inside my users "Libraries" folder and copied the "Wordservices.services" file into it then logged out and back in but I do not get any service menu when I opened a file in textedit. What I do wront?
