I personally don't care about the concept as the apps I have seen written are below average in general. I could actually forgive this if there was a way to deploy to an enterprise. Once again Adobe has figured out how to make their bad installation ideas worse than before. Without a logical way to install this in mass, how does Adobe expect it to be supported in mass?

While I have been very happy with Parallels, this update brought down my entire system. After the application was updated, I launched a Windows 7 VM. It was 15% done updating the Parallels Tools when then System clock stopped. I waited another 10 minutes before force shutting the system down. It would not respond to an ssh connection or even a ping.

After the restart, I haven't gone back in there, but my machine completely hung a second time. Prior to this update, I can not tell you the last time my machine crashed. I may do a complete uninstall and attempt a reinstall if it crashes again.

While I can understand the desire not to have java on a system, I love Crashplan. Have been using it for more than a year and will resubscribe next year if they keep working flawlessly. It runs in the background and I never notice it. I can restore any of my files to my iPad or my iPhone or any other device for easy access from anywhere. I really could not ask for more, and yet it offers other features that I don't even use like backing up to other computers.

Great application, but how do you expect a normal user to keep up? Hell, even an advanced user would find this challenging.

One reason I update is to avoid security issue and get security enhancements. While I could read every release note to see if I really need it, I am just lazy and update when I see them released.

I am really just playing with the software, but so far it has done everything I have wanted to do. It is easy to use and seems very stable. I like it better than Art Text for stability and ease of use for text based effects.

Funny thing this morning, both my Mac and PC slowed to a crawl. After about 10 minutes, I rebooted the PC and on restart the Adobe Auto Update let me know there was an update. No slow down after the restart. On the Mac, it was slow for about 20 minutes and once presented with the update dialog, performance returned to normal. No idea what it is doing in the background, but to me it just puts another nail in the coffin for this dated crap. At least it is starting to implement bad code on both platforms equally well.

Tried it, but couldn't figure out how to control Donkey Kong (only game I tried). Gave up and removed it. I guess it did server as a 5 minute time killer though.

I had used version 2 and it worked great when I lost a hard drive. I really didn't use it for regular syncing though. Of course years later I had another need for it. I also had lost my registration number. The developer responded with my registration information in less than 4 hours on a Sunday. That is what I call great support from a product that does its job very well.

If you like sports, I can't imagine how you would not like these. With the changing versions, upgrading could be easier, but that is all I can think of that is a minor annoyance.

I didn't see quickly where to send this to the developer. I can't seem to launch the app. It only briefly shows in the Dock.
