Sure we all like to break the mold but I cannot imagine not using the new Safari version 3. For us living in the country with dial-up it is amazingly fast. The cacheing is remarkable.

When in town using broadband I think it comes down to the features that a particular browser offers.

Personally I do like the interface of Opera 9.5 and yes Firefox 3 is good too.

Where is this all going to end?

Thank goodness Explorer for the Mac is fini.

Isn't that interesting. One learns a great deal here from just reading the comments.
I didn't know about the quartz filter. Tried it on a 492 k doc which reduced to 68k. Bloody amazing.

Thanks macupdate and keep up the great job.

Wow! That is all I can say.

Reader 8.1.1 will not install over 8.1.0 on Titanium G4 867 Mhz w/ OSX.4.10.

No big deal, SINCE, I now have discovered Skim because of MU. Thank-you!

Actually Preview does everything I need but for editing PDFpenPro is tops again.

Considering Reader is such a hog, I really wonder why Adobe bothers. They have been very useful in the past but now I wonder.

Good luck to all.

XPostFacto has saved me hundreds if not thousands of "buck$".
The simplicity and strength of this enabler for Legacy machines cannot be overstated.
With hundreds of configurations out there, it is remarkable what this Canadian programmer has achieved.
I am looking forward with gusto the installation of Panther on my 9600.

Thank-you very much RyanR!
