It should be noted that Trimenabler is no longer totally free. For so called advanced features, like SMART status information , you have to pay $10.

"So what was free still is".
Not Quite SMART was also available for free.
There is nothing bad to support the developer though.

This application does only use plain text files, not even rtf.
For me this is a problem.

I used the automatic update from within PathFinder.
May be the MacUpdate-link is pointing to the old file?!

It's a pity that the developer is dormant since over a year.

The rating is based on the fact that Tweakersoft does not provide a free of charge update that works on newer OSX versions. Other companies that moved to MacAppstore are able to do so. Look at Pixelmator or 1Password; both work on 10.6.x and 10.7.x.

For me it is a kind of convenience app. You can also use an alarm clock, software or hardware, to take a break; and if you work on paper you can take it with you. The integration of Things' and Omnifocus' to-do-lists is nice, unfortunately I don't use these, which also means I cannot comment on the quality of the synchronization feature. The log book is nice, the noise machine is... does someone use it?
The writing boards are something that you use if you don't have Things or some such, otherwise I think it breaks up the information and you start spreading over several applications.
Fast type is buggy. While it works if you write top to bottom, as soon as you remove tabs or insert something, funny things happen, especially when inserting some "fast type" code.
I don't feel comfortable with giving a rating (stars), because for these kind of apps it is not helpful, as everyone has a very different working style.
