This "simulator" is quite the ride. Huge amount of fun when you've got some time to waste and don't want to shoot another zombie.

Program allows you to construct rockets with different characteristics and see if you can get the "Kerbals" into space. Sometimes you meet with success, sometime not. Go over to YouTube and watch some of the epic failures - it's quite the riot.

Kudos to the developers - and thanks for making it available to the Mac populous!

Great service, great ap - revolutionized my ability to work on the road! Now I can print all my briefings and supporting materials to pdf files and read them on the plane. Super easy to use.

One cautionary note - I wouldn't put any kind of sensitive personal/financial data on dropbox. It's a great service, but I've read reports that indicate it's not all that secure. I suppose you could keep encrypted files on here with no problem, but I don't know if those will work with an iPad.

Give it a shot.

I'm looking for a good offsite backup, and I thought I'd found it in CrashPlan. I signed up for the 30 day trial, selected what I needed backed up and let 'er rip. Twenty-nine days later, as it was just about to finish uploading my data (yes, 29 days later) there was a glitch in the process and it started over from scratch. Ouch.

I shelved it for a couple of weeks and decided to do a back up to a local external drive. That works like a champ. The program also gives you the option to keep a backup on a friend's machine (or vice versa, a friend can put an encrypted back up on your machine). Great feature.

Cloud storage for huge amounts of data (say, an iPhoto library) just take way too long to get started. However, the features mentioned above are definitely worth looking into.

Downloaded and installed Launchpad-Control 1.3. When attempting to open the pref pane, I get the following "preferences error":

You can’t open Launchpad-Control preferences because it doesn’t work on an Intel-based Mac.

I've deleted, downloaded and reinstalled several times, each with the same result.

Will gladly try again when the next update is released.

Update 2/19/12: Tried the latest version (v 1.6) and it appears to work as promised. Will update if I find problems.

Wow! Great tool for finally getting an inventory of our DVD collection! Love the iSight scanner - worth it's weight in gold! Kudos to the dev - keep up the good work, and thanks for the outstanding software.

I used a previous version of MoneyWell for a few months. I was looking for a simple checking program, and MoneyWell is definitely NOT that. I found the "bucket" concept confusing, and it just never seemed to click for me - hopefully your experience will be better. I switched to mini$, and it seems to do everything I need - straight forward and simply.

However, I will say that if you are looking for a tool to help you layout a comprehensive budget, then MoneyWell may be the right tool for you. Given the price, you don't have much to lose. It imports your data easily, and if you don't like it, it exports it just as well.

Couldn't get to load in 10.6. Tried it on an upgrade and on a clean install, and it will not load manually or automatically. However, worked great in 10.5 - it was (and will be again) my favorite screen saver.

Just downloaded and installed v 1.3. Pref pane will not launch. Displays message stating I can't use Launchpad-Control on an Intel-based mac. Thoughts?

Fairly straight forward solution for tracking/record keeping purposes. Only issue is with the UPC scanner - doesn't seem to work (but does work on the companion software 'DVD Hunter 1.0.5').
