This is just a clone of DiscEject with a useless GUI... even the updates are similar (ForceEject 1.1 = DiscEject 1.3).
Maybe it would be a better investment of time if you focused on creating something new.

You're right, but often the simplest command is far more reliable and successful. I'm not an expert about the matter, but it sounds strange that ForceEject uses a more advanced method that still fails with discs that are in use - exactly as DiscEject does. By the way, DiscEject is on Macupdate from December 2009 and has been downloaded at least 55 thousand times: and it also has a similar name... But since we are discussing about free software, copying isn't a problem, right?

Great app, simple and effective. Sometimes can provide some false infos about a song, but in very rare cases.

The best video player for Mac!
Fast, lightweight, compatible, customizable and... it simply works.
Well done!

No problems here! Works like it should on a 2010 Mac Mini.

Lightweight, stable, fast, full-featured and smart: the best uninstaller, and it finds (since version 2.0.1) even more files than AppDelete: actually, only Amnesia finds more files.

This is not a fake review (I live in Italy and I don't work for ZeoBit) but I must admit that I have been very sceptic about this app. Later I activated a license, and I must say is not that bad at all. The MacKeeper ads are only on MacUpdate, and I'm not experiencing any of the scareware messages. The app itself it's good, full-featured and it's getting better. Some advanced options I used on CleanMyMac aren't present, but I'm sure they will. The tools work OK (but for shrinking apps I still use CleanMyMac - on the other side, MacKeeper removes aven 32bit or 64bit binaries), the AntiVirus is resource drying, so I use only for manual scans before sending a file to Windows users. Other tools are OK, and the company has a good support.

Still I don't understand why other people hate it. I cannot say that my Mac is faster, but it's not slower. The app has many great features and the developers are kind. I didn't experience any strange behavior or threat, so I cannot say anything about the dark side of this app. The anti-theft, MacKeeper Helper and antivirus (real time protection - sin using Wine) are using 1-2% of CPU and 60MB of RAM... that's a very small amount of power.
So, I enjoy using this app, even if a black list (incompatible apps) for the binaries cutter will be greatly appreciated.

Wow! Amazing: I was waiting for a thing like this: opening files without expand them! And is free... Obviously, it's not perfect (not so configurable), but I think that in a few versions this thing will work very good for any user.

Fishcale, iZip allows you to listen to compressed music, open compressed documents and even movies. Not to only see the content of the archive.
