[Version 2.4.7]

I purchased the program on a recent promo as the price was right. When I installed it and ran it for the first time it crashed partway through the scan. I found out it was a happening only when doing a deep scan, which is the default, and emailed the developer. His response was very quick.

Over the course of a few emails he sent me debug versions and I sent back the reports. The problem only occurred when scanning the plist file for my weather program, Seasonality. Seems that I was a member of a select group of 5 people having this problem. And not all people running the program had the problem. Today I received a new version to download which fixed the problem.

I have to say it is rare these days to find this level of support. I know the dev put in a lot of time fixing a problem that was effecting a handful of users. I would rate support 5 stars.

The program itself does the job it claims to do. It found 20 confirmed licenses and 92 possibles. I looked at the list and it appears that a number of the possibles are the correct codes. While that may not seem like a large number you have to realize that there is no real standard for how a program stores and checks the serial. The program is simple to use and is now completely stable.

For this early a version, version 1, the program shows real promise and I hope to see the dev continue to improve on the list of found serial numbers.

I just purchased this program through MacUpdate a few days ago and I have to say I am very happy with it. It is far and away the best at scanning to a searchable PDF of the programs I have tried. I tried Abbey, Prismo and several others and was disappointed with the results. Thanks for a great program and it was worth every penny I paid for it.

I have used this program for several years now. I started out with MobileMe. I recently set it up for Dropbox because it is a one step process to upload the file and get the link to send. Drag the file to the Dock icon and then drag the link to email or even your Instant Messenger program.

I just upgraded to this version and have been using 1.25.1 so my review is on that version. the program works for me and does the job it is supposed to do. Most of my music is DRM free because I buy other places. I do have the remnants of protected music from my early Apple days so that is what I am converting.

The program works as advertised for me. I am running the latest version of ML on my late 2009 27" iMac. Ease of use is clouded by the sheer number of options available. It can be a bit daunting if you are not knowledgeable about the settings. I have also found that it seems to work better if you don't try to convert too many songs at a time. I normally just do one album at a time.

Overall, the program has worked just fine for me. As I mentioned knowing a bit about the different settings is very helpful.

Quite frankly I prefer utilities that do not try to take an everything and the kitchen sink approach. This program does the one thing it does extremely well. I hate desktop clutter and it is hard to maintain a desktop with less than a dozen icons. I can now organize all my daily reading into several lists that are easy to see and maintain. This program is well worth the money.

@Gslusher I don't even keep my HD icons on the desktop. If I did I would be most of the way to that dozen icons already. :-) Most of the clutter on my desktop comes from my early morning activities. I usually skim through things and just drag links to a shelf. That way I can take my time later on. This program fits in nicely with the way I work. Right now I have one shelf, two folders and two links on my desktop.

If you are tired of programs that try to throw in every feature in the book and are so complicated you have to RTFM to figure out how to use them then this program is for you. It does one thing and it does it very well. And that says it all.
