On an iPhone 5 the option to switch off 3G disappears. Annoying.

Yes, of course I can read it supports "iPhone 5c/iPhone 5s", not iPhone 5, but then why does Apple push this update down the hungry throat of my iPhone 5?

Works great as advertised. Would be great if Skydrive could be added.

I am using it with a USB stick and a China Unicom prepaid SIM. It works flawlessly all over China (I travel quite a bit).

launch2net opens as soon as you insert the USB stick, recognizes the available network, its strength without fail and connects in a wiffy.

The connections are stable, transparent and - thanks to China Unicom - fast.

The price may be high, however, considering the herculanean task of keeping up with worldwide settings of worldwide telecoms everywhere, the price appears to me as being rather adequate.

I have been using it for many years and I am rather satisfied.

@iMactintosh: They neither comment if or not they block websites and applications/services, nor do they reason about it.

Nice interface, but can't compete with IPNetMonitor (running on the same Mac).

Network Radar did not identify correctly 2 out of 3 Airport Express on the network, it did not identify the AppleTV as such, so you have to do that manually.

It did not find a Fritz Repeater, either.

The port scan is limited to port 1 - 1023.

It is a nicely designed interface, but under the hood it is still work in progress, I would say.

I was not precise enough, so some clarification: Network Radar did identify the vendor IDs for the devices it found correctly, but not the type of device, even if Apple is the vendor.

IPNetMonitor does not give you the type of device, but the name of the device, which Network Radar missed out for 4 out of 9 devices on the network.

Brilliant, works like a charm! Hope future versions will support BoxNet or even custom clouds/ftp servers.

It does a really good job, mighty impressed, but I chose not to subscribe to the service, because the app after disabling the VPN connection prompts me umpteen times to enter my password, a nuisance.

See AV post. Firefox 16.0 beta 5 has the same issue. So the issure is not being addresses, presently.

Firefox 15.0.1 clearly has a problem with following Antivirus software:

- SOPHOS
- Comodo
- Webroot

Others not tested.

Specifically, if real-time scanning is on, Firefox stalls and even stops responding.

This does not happen with Safari.

May be I am alone, may be not: On Mac OS X 10.8.2 with AV installed, either Comodo or Sophos, if I have several applications running (Mail, Firefox, Skype), one application will hang (=beachball) and take the other applications with it, they also start beachballing.

Console output is inconclusive.

Uninstalling Comodo resolves the issue.

Same application hang happens with Sophos, so it is not a Comodo-only issue.

Any input will be most welcome.

I emailed support twice for problems with their registration number, but they don't bother replying.

I can not recommend any software of any developer with such lousy support.

As this is totally unacceptable, and just as a matter of principle, I may go legal and sue for damages if there is no reply by September 12, 2006, business closing hours.

I have done that before and it was VERY effective.

Companies with this lousy attitude do not deserve anybody's business.

Why is it that Camino always connects to www.google-analytics.com? Is there something in the EULA about this, that I should have read?

No, that is not what I mean. Whenever I connect to any site, it is clearly visible on the task-bar on the bottom, that Camino connects to Google first. I don't hope, that Camino harvests information for Google?

Thank you very, very much, this was extremely helpful.

I guess the only way of disabling that, is not to access pages that use Google tracking, right?

Demo does not seem to be importing tune names from iTunes. Also manual input does not work. Otherwise, good idea, good concept.
