This was great before version 1.7, but all it does now is crash immediately. Hopefully it gets another update soon because I liked the way version 1.6.x was working. Everything was there and doing what it was supposed to do.

To add to the other's woes, I can't even get current version 1.9.5 (59) to register. I even purchased a new license thinking that my original purchase was quite old. All I got was the same serial number as I purchased in 2004. So, I would not recommend it at all.

Safari Prairiefire started working for me again recently. Thanks for the reply, but there is no need for a refund. Thanks for continuing to support your application.

I do not how this gets rated so highly. I have to re-enter all of my registration information every time I reboot my computer. That is hardly perfect, even though everything is done quite well.

Hi SparkLabs - I found that it was not Viscosity, but have not yet determined what is causing this problem for Viscosity and a half dozen other applications. What I do with Viscosity and the other half dozen also Menu Extras is to force quit them in Activity Monitor and immediately relaunch them. All of these work and show as registered when I do this. I'd like to find the application or Menu Extra causing this, then to offender will be gone from my system. Thanks for the reply. Again, Viscosity is great because something else is causing issues. I'll find it eventually.

Until this release Guitar Tools was a fine application. My name and serial number fail to activate Guitar Tools 1.5. Fix that and it will be all 5 stars once again.

I made a mistake on the version number. It should have said 1.3.

I do not know why this update was released for a version that does not work with the current (10.8.2) operating system. It should be updated for Mountain Lion, as only a message appears stating that it is not compatible with the current operating system.

I downloaded this and tried monitoring ports, but see just a blank screen. I also tried Cocoa Packet Analyzer and it shows a wealth of information. I've checked settings and everything looked fine. I know that I have port activity because both Hands Off! and Little Snitch show lots of activity in their monitor windows.

I know that there's lots of negative reviews, but TurboTax 2011 has worked great for me. I know the updating is slower, but that does not matter as much as how well it works. I've used this software for many years. This year I was able to import much more of my financial information, including even my W2 from work. I was done with my taxes in no time. The only problem I had was the initial update in either late November or early December. It just would not update, but it offered up a manual download to use for the update. That worked great and every update since that time has worked great.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. This thing has done nothing, but crash, crash, crash. It seems to be overly fussy, working only on a freshly installed system with no 3rd party software installed. Once anything else is installed, this application fails every time.

What I'd like to see it located is some of those embedded applications like svn. I keep getting a couple of errors from things on my system that use a PowerPC version of svn. I already found all of the applications and removed the ones I do not want anymore. There a some that have updates coming, so I left those there. Embedded PowerPC applications is what I'm looking to remove.

I just downloaded the version 11.1 update and it will not complete the update. The "Finish" button remains grayed out at the Toast It and Mount It screen. If I de-select them, it still stays grayed out. Toast will never run unless that problem is rectified. I even tried re-installing the original 11.0.0 version and trying to update that with the same result. By the way, version 11.0.0 installed without a hitch and ran great. Roxio needs to fix this problem.

I found my answer in a previous post and copied my comments from there to here. I deleted both of the following:

com.roxio.Toast.plist
Roxio Toast Prefs

This allowed the Toast Setup complete. All is back to normal.

They need to fix this thing. The Instant On extra make every application made in Real Basic crash, every single one of them. I uninstalled Instant On and everything is back to normal.

I went back to version 2.3.3 beta because the last several 3.0 alpha releases crash short after the application has launched. My crash report has lots of the following line. I mean lots.

net.aetherial.books.Books 0x000088c0 -[BooksAppDelegate refreshComboBoxes:] + 368 (BooksAppDelegate.m:777)

Any ideas?

How do you get this to work? It runs an endless loop trying to install the Dynamic Libraries. They never install making it impossible to launch D-Vision. Fix it and I can rate it.
