I can't find any information about whether the upcoming new 1.2 version allows changing text color in themes.

Here's why they are eliminating free mode and going to pay only.

Q: Why are you making this change?
A: In order to address the evolving needs of our customers, we will be unifying our portfolio of free and premium remote access products into a paid-only offering. We believe this offering to be the best premium desktop, cloud and mobile access experience available in the market today.

Make any sense of this? They could at least give us a straight answer.

I'm still waiting for the ability to change text color. Without this themes are extremely limited.

I couldn't restore the dmg to a usb drive but was able to easily burn it to DVD. After that booting and installing the firmware update worked well.

I should mention I am convinced it is legit because in the MacOS System report the new firmware number is showing. Also the upgrade interface and procedure on the boot DVD resembles previous version updates.

This app doesn't seem to be multithreaded. It will transfer several files at once but if your working on only one large file, it can go real slow especially if the server prioritizes traffic using QOS.

What as difference a year makes.

The performance issues I endured and 3rd party plugin problems appear to be resolved in this update. No need to even use background rendering as I can preview my work while editing.
It took me a long while to wrap my head around this software but I'm sure glad I stayed with it. FCP X is very powerful after 8 updates in a little over a year, but there is a learning curve so if you don't know it well, get to know it with some video or book tutorials. It's worth it. Glad I never switched to Premiere.

Works greqt for downloading large files on ftp. The server I download from has a per file speed limit but with this app I am able to split the file 6 ways and get top speed.
There only a couple other ftp apps for Mac that offer multithreaded downloading and they are unstable or only split it into 2 threads.
Very nice.

Oops, pardon the typos. Which I could edit my comment at least within a minute or two after hitting submit.

Best of it's kind. The new search criteria is very helpful.
Didn't expect it could get much better but it has.

Awesome. They are adding the features at a breakneck pace.
Very nice for a 1.x.x version and the fact they are really responding with significant improvements quickly.
Of course the nitpicking and wining will continue no matter what Apple does.
