Important to note that version 6 is NOT a free upgrade from version 5, so you might want to add that to the description and MacUpdate Desktop. Just important to know for people before installing upgrade.

Since there wasn't a demo version, but the reviews were good and I liked what I saw in the downloadable manual that's on the website, I decided to bite the bullet and buy iDraw 2.2.

So far, it's been really very good for basic vector drawing needs and has opened all my simpler EPS and AI files with ease. Exported files seem good to when I pull them back into Illustrator or other apps. The UI works well (and is intuitive) and given the tiny price, it's really excellent for working on simpler projects -- especially if you use it in conjunction with the iPad version of the app (with fonts being the biggest limitation unless converted to outline when switching between the two versions).

Advanced color, typeface and stroke controls are lacking, but iDraw works fine if you don't expect it to be Illustrator or CorelDraw.

I probably won't use it to lay out complex illustrations, maps or diagrams, but for individual illustrations (characters, objects, logos, etc.) it's great and the import/export is reliable. I do wish it supported dropbox syncing instead of icloud, but that's quibble. Great app FOR THE PRICE.

Offer a demo version and I'll give it a whirl. Looks very promising.

Overall a nice utility for enhancing basic window functions. It's free and stable for me (the late two versions).

Tried it. Nice little text app with it's own original approach to things (and some nice included templates in the demo). It and Bean are comparable, but $7 isn't unreasonable for a well implemented app and the developer CLEARLY states they are happy to hear feedback and troubleshoot things on the first-time launch screen.

The iMac version at http://www.derman.com/iMac-Fan-Control was a lifesaver. It's the ONLY fan control app/deamon that keeps my 2006 27" iMac running. All other fan control apps just don't seem to work on my machine. Running Lion currently with no issue. Take FC away and my machine will barely run (video glitches, wants to shutdown, etc.).

Weird. All the Facebook-based apps on my iOS devices (two iphone and one ipad) aren't working right after the latest update. Something Apple change, must mess with Facebook API (or so I'm guessing).

Link to developer site incorrect. The Mac version looks like it's here:
