Heads and shoulders above previous versions. Streamlined features, intuitive interface and MUCH better features. This finally feels like a version of iTunes truly designed for the roles it's filling.

Nice job Apple!

Firefox continues to be an outstanding browser. Offers a nice blend of simplicity and features...all at the user's discretion.

I know some people get bent out of shape about the fast versioning...but who cares? If that's what Mozilla needs to do to "keep up" with Chrome, at least in the minds of the uneducated, then do it. Whatever it takes to keep a stellar program front and center in people's minds.

iCab continues to impress. Version 5 (like version 4) uses Safari's WebKit rendering engine. In spite of the share engine, however, iCab usually outperforms Safari. I'm not sure if it's superior threading, but iCab doesn't get "bogged down" like Safari does. you virtually never get the spinning ball with iCab.

That performance doesn't come at the expense of features either. iCab has a slew of features that other browsers either don't have at all, or are poorly implemented at best.

Definitely one of the best, if not THE best, OS X browsers on the market.

As a long time user of NeoOffice, I was interested in LibreOffice...especially since it has the bulk of the original OpenOffice team behind it.

With NeoOffice's recent donation requirement, I finally took the plunge with LibreOffice. I have to say, I'm extremely impressed. Overall it is much faster than NeoOffice.

Actually, you can't download the latest 3.2 version of NeoOffice unless you've made a donation within the last year.

That being said, I'm not fundamentally opposed to it, as I realize everyone has to make a living. Unfortunately though, I have quite a bit of commercial software that I have to keep up with already. So LibreOffice gives me a bit of a break, and in some ways works better.

NeoOffice is a real gem in the Mac software community. In many ways, it puts iWork to shame.

This is a terrific widget. Does exactly what it claims... and finally puts Calvin & Hobbes click away!

I used iCab back in the OS 9 days and loved it. It lagged in the early days of OS X, but with v 4.0 iCab is back with a vengeance.

This browser is easily faster than Firefox 3 Beta 2 on my MBP, and has a nice set of features either not found in other browsers, or not as well implemented.

Nice work...
