I was testing this on a MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

It has a nice interface, BUT this doesn't help the performance.
Mostly it takes 30% of CPU...on average!

I was reading that other users also have issues with CPU while using this software...so it is really confirmed and not fixed like posted in this thread.
However, Checkup was much better in performance and I hope that xScan will become stable in the coming update.

Since I was testing it with Drive Genius 3 Drive Pulse, the CPU won't fall under 30%...even Drive Pulse is deactivated!

This software is very very buggy!

Also which I really didn't like is that xScan is always on top, which is very annoying while watching a movie or using fullscreen mode. Always on top should really be off!

The german translation is ver poor and needs to become updated too !!!

I love this app and have been using it for years.
It's a shame what Apple is doing now to the freedom of the user.
I am sure that Mac users want to customize all their icons.
There is also a bug since 10.5 with blurry/pixelated icons which is clearly a OSX bug !!
Apple didn't fix this bug in 10.8 and now even doesn't allow to change icons???
I can't believe this is happening!

This is a great app, BUT I'm still using the old stable wersion with the old UI which is much better.
The separate windows for playlist etc. is not convenient at all. I hope the developer will put some mind in this app and make it A: look like the old version B: no transparent windows at all, or at least customized UI

Works not so wel as I thought in the first place.
I got serious trouble with compatibility.
I used VOX, Decibel and VLC to play FLAC files.
Fluke was installed too.
Since this version of MPlayerX my FLAC-Files can't be associated with Decibel for instance.
The option is just gone, because it seems that mPlayerX just overrides other apps...
However, I tried contacting the developer via Email, but still no reply on this bug...and I really believe it's a bug.
mPlayerX also don't show any specific ICON for different Audio or Video Formats...like MPG, AVI, MKV etc. or Audio...
There is only: AUDIO, VIDEO, SUBTITLES...
There is definitely some more development required!
Any advice is much appreciated.
