Now that Apache has officially taken over OpenOffice from Oracle. IBM has also now donated it's Lotus Symphony to Apache as well. I wonder if LibreOffice will merge with them and have one cohesive effort towards open source office suite

@Big Mac XL. I appreciate your hatred towards OPenOffice. But it isn't going away. Apache foundation also has IBM to back them with OpenOffice. It's only matter of time before we see OpenOffice become the defacto standard of opensource suite.

@Dokter_mac this open source project has MAJOR corporate backing. It isn't like majority of cash strapped open source projects. They are fully funded with full time developers and designers.

I'm always amazed to see small developers continue to exist and make great products and stay in business in this shark infested waters of office productivity suites.

Get version 1.0 from the website. It's freeware now and will remain freeware as per the blog post.

I'll recommend the developer if he has no plans of updating the program (as per his blog post) then he should opensource it. let the community develop it.

Every one should email the developer to make this opensource.
