Still works in Mountain Lion 10.8

Does what it says.

Since Apple only allows Lion to be used with Parallels and not Snow Leopard, can I run SN as main OS and then Lion in Parallels? What is the performance?

Obviously I would prefer to do the opposite to run one or two apps (Quicken is the main one), but this seems like an option.

Regarding pricing, I haven't upgraded recently, but it seems that cross grade pricing after the products have been out a while is better than upgrading. Not sure if that's been true recently, but a couple of years ago it seemed so. And I'm not such a power user that it mattered whether it was VMWare or Parallels, although if I'm going to be running Lion virtualized it performance would be critical.

But running SL as main OS might drive one crazy when it comes to iTunes syncing. Seems like it would be too easy to sync with the wrong OS.

PS I can't seem to change the ratings once I (mis)click.

To clarify, I'd prefer to run Lion as host and run SL as guest. Parallels won't run SL as guest because Apple doesn't allow this. I haven't confirmed this for Parallels, but I have for VMWare.

Mcr, how well does Lion run as a guest?
