RW is a very flexible and extensible program. With the addition of third party themes, plugins and stacks, a novice can make a very sophisticated web site. The end user does not have to write any code.

The program is not truly WYSIWYG in the way that iWeb was. Instead, you toggle back and forth between preview mode and edit mode. I quickly grasped the concept and do not mind this.

Out of the box, the program is limited. However, with the addition of the stacks plug-in (which should be bundled with RW), a whole new world of potential is opened up. Stacks are pre-canned snippets of html (or other) code that permit making forms, buttons, embedding photos or videos, light box effects, slide shows, styling of text, responsive page layout, download forms, upload forms, etc., etc.

Some here have complained about the expense of adding the third party themes, plug ins and stacks. However, the other side of that coin is that the cost of entry is low and you can add features as needed and only if or when needed.
