Nice to see desktop app for Sina Weibo, considering how many apps there are for Twitter out in the West. You would think there would be programmers interested in programming for Sina Weibo platform with more users in Mainland and around the world than West has users for Twitter.

But I just wish for English interface. Would be quite cool as the Weibo webpages are available only in Chinese. :)

Sadly, I am still not moving to version 2. I gave yesterday a try to 2.0.5 and had to go to VLC ftp archives to redownload the old version.

1) Float on top resets for each and every video. Only way to overcome this is to go to Preferences, and set it as permanent setting. Which I don't want, I want it to be session specific, like in old version. Hence the Float on top in the menu in the first place

2) The program does not function anymore with Cinch, meaning I cannot quickly attach&resize it to one corner of my screen.

3) The volume control tops up at 200%, used to be 400%. I like more gain than what I can get with 2.0.5

The default function of videos playing over your playlist, can be easily changed from the preferences, but it is oddly named imho.

After these things, decided to downgrade back to v1.0 series, so did not find other issues yet that would have annoyed the hell out of me.

Had to go back to old VLC version. The new version opens videos and mp3s much slower than old version. Also showing "font cache updating" menu everytime. The stay on top function seems to go off everytime you load new video the list. The maximum volume is lower than before. And on top of that the player crashes on quit most times. Running on 10.6.8 Macbook.

Oh and forgot indeed that I also cannot get out of fullscreen mode on 10.6.8 with on screen controls.

I was regular user of this great small quick program when I was using Leopard OS 10.5. But after I this year finally updated to Snow Leopard, sadly the program stopped working on my new Macbook Pro with SL. Sadly. :( Basically: this program does not work on Snow Leopard. For Snow Leopard: 0.5 stars. For Leopard: 5 stars.

"Nice", they have ripped off the Japanese application logo which was out there first: Toycamera Analogcolor. Good work boys!

This is the only solution I use to download videos from Youtube. Sadly it does not support other sites and sometimes has trouble starting downloads (I might put this also problem of Youtube itself and not fault of this program) and it does not indicate which versions of video you can download. You have to do trial and error is there HD version available for example. I give this thumbs up, no need to try other software. Also the playlist feature is handy when you want to collect list of videos to watch in sequence.

I use Adium daily. But sadly QQ connection does not still work and video, I really want video on MSN. The Microsoft Messenger for OS X has so lousy video also. God I am envy of my Windows friends sometimes. :)

App Store - full of fluff like this. Gosh. Kill me! I want to have some filter ere on MacUpdate to filter out App Store stuff. Seems that most of it is this sort of 1 USD crap or in worst case overpriced programs that have been done better and cheaper for long time before App Store.

Another "hide my desktop" application, thanks to the stupid App Store. How many there are now of these? Just download the free DesktopUtility if yo want to hide your desktop items for presentation.

Started using this two days ago. So far great! Bit slow to respond sometimes, especially to reload/refresh commands. But as I am power user and run multiple different browsers with 100+ tabs, this browser became my lightweight app that I launch when I don't need the weight of my Firefox, Safari or Opera. I don't want any more features or any other bloat to this browser! This is great small one as it is.

Can anyone give link to get the previous version. This does not work anymore and there is no way to contact the authors at their website, I triedto find but their comment function is also broken! Thanks! This does not work on 10.5.8 anymore.
