Great App and well supported.
One difference between MAS version and Agilebits Store version is that if you want to use iCloud syncing, you need the MAS version....at least that is what the staff have said in a few places in the forums. However the Agilebits store version does seem to sync with iCloud at present.
I have asked for clarification on this a couple of times without answer so far.

I would switch to the Agilebits Store version if I thought iCloud syncing was officially supported. Here is a link where Agilebits say iCloud is for MAS version only:

Great App, couldn't manage without it. But it does take a bit of learning and getting used to. But documentation is good.

Confused about 4.0.1....this is for non MAS I assume since MAS isn't offering yet.

Also the 4 beta forum says don't update to 4 on MAS if you have been using the beta. Doesn't say why not. Too late! seems to work.

A bit of clarity on version numbers would be welcome. Version 3 always had different version numbers between MAS and Agilebits store.

Why is the family pack version being presented as a different program? Surely it is the same as the single license?

Upgrade price (from FAQ section) and new purchase price are the same for a Family Pack from the UK, both are £15.49 (probably plus VAT).

Having paid £24.00 only eight months ago I am going back to OSX's built in Archive Utility.

Thanks for fixing glitch. Is the upgrade discount really only £1? ....or is there still a glitch? Upgrade is now showing as £14.49, and new purchase £15.49. In all my years of software buying I have never come across such a paltry upgrade discount.

No I am not confusing anything. The confusion is at Incredible Bee. Today I have had another email saying there has been yet another glitch and the real discount is meant to be £3 for Archive 1 to Archive 2 upgrade. I am waiting for a few more glitches to be sorted by which time the discount might be worthwhile. What is really bugging me is that I paid £24 for Archiver 1 only 8 months ago.

Sgginc, the upgrade for existing license holders is buried in the FAQs down at the bottom of the page.

I am a heavily committed user of Dropbox, but Cubby is seriously better for three reasons:

1. DirectSync feature gives gives unlimited syncing between computers outside the cloud.
2. Files and Folders to be synced don't need to be gathered into one master folder, can be synced from anywhere.
3. iPhone app allows selection of folders as well as subfolders and files for offline viewing, unlike Dropbox.

I have had one or two hangs and crashes while testing, but it is still beta so I cut it some slack.

If it matures properly this "blows Dropbox out of the water" to use a cliche.

Meant to add that I think the beta is public now, and 5Gb free.

Be very careful about updating to 2012.1. This is not a straightforward update but a radical change to how the data is stored, and at the moment it looks as though syncing between computers with Dropbox, and possibly multiple account files are not supported. This is a constructive warning from a long term enthusiast of Moneydance.

Yes, I think (not 100% certain) that they have taken away OSX Dropbox support, hence syncing between computers. When I opened my Dropbox file in Moneydance 2012, it was removed from Dropbox to the archive folder in user library and the dat stored the data internally to the program. It warns you it will do this. I have restored everything to pre 2012 status from backups until I understand better. Plenty of questions but not answers in the Moneydance forum

Moneydance staff have posted on the forum that they are working on a version which will support OSX Dropbox syncing, and also that multiple datafiles are supported by the current 2012.1 version. He advises waiting if you use OSX Dropbox syncing. Would have been nice if there was some warning.

Actually just looked at the website again and it is quite clear:

"Upon successful payment you will be presented with a link to come back to our site. Please follow this link to receive your receipt file. This file can then be placed in the same directory as all of the apps, and it will unlock No Spin upon your very next launch."

.......which is exactly what happened for me. No email mentioned.

After paying, I clicked back to Mosaic, and there was a button to download receipt. So I did and followed the instructions. All unlocked and working within two minutes of payment.

I agree there was some reference to receiving the receipt file by e mail...confusing.
