I work at Stanford in the Biology department. I work with computers all day, primarily with Macs and with Linux servers, and I appreciate well written software and viciously hate poor software.

I also love (much more than I love software) mountains, forests, creatures of every kind, rocks, and exploration, particularly dangerous exploration. I also like to meditate, spend time with my wife and friends, eat amazing food, and sit around and watch the world.

This application is really great and makes your Mac much more robust. I loved it for many years.

Unfortunately, my computer started running slowly, and to improve it, this app was one which had to go. It does a lot of stuff, and when you use a computer as intensely as I do, that results in a big slow down.

I still think it is a fantastic app, I just think it is best for less intense computer users - particularly those who might accidentally destroy data or their system somehow, it definitely provides a great way to protect data and system files.

This application is amazing. I loved version 2.x and version 3.x is even better.

It is amazingly stable and simple and an absolute must have for anyone who doesn't want a bunch of crud on their system. I use it a lot to force uninstall software as it tells me every file that a Package installs.

Really excellently made, and easily worth the money (although you can use it for free, which is also fantastic).
