Version 1.63 is available from the developer's site (32 and 64 bit) and fixes a bug reported on 10.6.8 and 10.7.5 (crash on adding images to be converted). As always, he responded very quickly :-)

10.8 required, not 10.6.8

Actually version 20130602 is already available through autoupdate:

- Fixed a crash when reading some FLAC files

Actually Update 14 for 10.6.8 updates Java SE 6 to 1.6.0_43 and not 1.6.0_41 (this detail should be corrected also for the update for 10.7 and 10.8).

Note that version 1.5.0 requires 10.5 or higher according to ReadMe.

Same as for previous versions: 10.6.4 is said to be required here:

but not here:

"This release is only for Mac OS X v10.6.8 or later versions of Mac OS X 10.6".

Early 2010 MBPs? Maybe I missed something, but afaik there are only mid-2010 MBPs. As firmware updates are no joke, why not clearly state, say, MBP5,3 or MBP6,2? One can easily check in System Profiler/System Information.

Definitely. But is this a good reason for devising "early 2010 MBPs"? Apple did, not MacUpdate:

Can see no point in messing things up.

Just for sake of clarity, I'm running Safari 5.0.5 on 10.6.5 and today I received the notification version 2.3.1 was available. I updated and it's working fine, but I'm just wondering which are the real Safari requirements. I didn't receive any notification for v. 2.3. Checked developer website but there too 5.1 for SL or 5.0.6 for Leopard are the minimum requirements.

BTW, great piece of software :-)

Thanks for your reply. Actually I spoke too early and realized later what you said. Reverting to 2.2.6 fixed it.

Thanks again. Unfortunately the update still shows up in Safari prefs' Extension tab. Wish Safari could detect incompatible versions directly. Happily I've always kept "automatically install updates" unchecked.

I think requirements should be corrected: the Apple support page lists 10.6.6 or later, and not 10.6.4. I'm running 10.6.5 and it doesn't show up in Software Update. Actually, this isn't the first time Apple makes some mess about minimum system requirements since the advent of 10.6.6 and App Store.

The features listed in "what's new" at the moment are referring to previous version 20110502. Version 20110508's changelog:

"This is a BETA release for a CD burn feature. You can skip this update unless you are interested in the feature. Feedback is welcome.

Clicking "Burn CD" button in the toolbar of the track list window triggers a CD burner. Apple's standard CD burner GUI will appear and proceed.

Note that the verification process requires an offset correction, so both read/write offset value (in CD Burn pref) should be set correctly for the exact match. Otherwise the verification will fail. If you are not sure about the write offset of your drive, burn AccurateRip verifiable image with the write offset 0, and rip the burned disc with the correct read offset. Then, the AR report will suggest offset values, and the relative one will be the write offset.

Here is a current status list of the XLD burner:

XLD does
• write flac/ape/wv/etc+cue image to CD directly
• take care of write offset
• reproduce pregap length (including HTOA)
• write ISRC/MCN
• write pre-emphasis/DCP flag

XLD does not (at this moment)
• create Mixed Mode CD
• create Enhanced CD (CD-Extra)
• write CD-Text"

7.2.2 won't open on 10.6.8. Tried both the version downloaded from here and the one from the dev's site. From the crashlog:

Dyld Error Message:
Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libc++.1.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/
Reason: image not found

Fixed in 7.2.3. Thanks!

Maybe the requirements are not correct. Version 1.5.6 crashes on startup on 10.6.8 and I think it's because the developer embedded java 1.7.0, not compatible with SL afaik.

I've posted in the support forums, but as I appear to be the very first poster, thought I'd report here too.

I love this app, the best free option, imho.

Very quickly solved: see Reviews/Comments tab. Thanks to the developer!

Keywords issue isn't solved (at least for me). Just updated from 1.2.8 to 1.3.1 and all my keywords are gone... Well, no major headhache, but I thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for fixing it. I assume you no longer need my .plist, isn't it?
