Don't like the ugly interface. It is not-osx-like.
At one point it hard crashed on my iMac without any notice or crash report.

Anyhow, I recommend looking at Hazle.

Plain simple to use and highly recommended for everyone. Brilliant app worth the steep asking price.

Buy it now. :-)

No application is perfect but the new iFFmpeg is one step closer to perfection.
It has so many new and clever features (hail to the "Quit" button in the command line editing window!) making this iFFmpeg upgrade a no-brainer. Brilliant!

A free app from this Japanees (or Chinees) developer is fishy. And some tests did point out I was right.
It claims to decode every format. Well, it shoked on Prores, DNXHD, DVVIDEO, several mkv and mov material. Adding subtitles never worked and locked the app completely forcing me to Force quit the app every time.
The movies that did encode took an awful long time at medium quality. Compared to Handbrake this is a snail producing poor quality and Handbrake is a rocket with almost perfect quality.
Even worse: 5 out of 10 successfully movies suffered from audio syncing delays. Depending on the length of the movie it gets worse in playtime.
The devs made a half-assed free converter to push people to buy the expensive Pro version claiming to be faster with better quality. Figures

My advice: use the free Handbrake.
