as I already posted back in october, I still fail to understand why the negative banner is still up (even if no longer highlighted in red).

Anyone else agreeing with the fact that it should be removed regardless of what occurred between MU and Koingo?

At the end of the day, this is a valid piece of software, so I personally see no point in denigrating that.

MU should remove the banner and both parties should resolve their issues behind closed doors. This is not the right place, in front of everyone like a couple of divorcees.

oh yeah........not doing anything about these, but very quick in blaming and shaming other companies (Koing, as an example) for doubtful ethics.....
Wake up MacUpdate if you want to keep your customer walk straight down the line in every occasion, not only when it suits you.....

ok, to say it like we say in Australia, let's call a spade a spade.....
I am not interested in what occurred behind the scenes between MacUpdate and Koingo, and probably many other people aren't either, provided that they are happy with the products they purchased from Koingo as I am.
I have never had issues of a certain relevance, and when presented with registration codes issues and other minimal problems, I have always encountered the utmost cooperation and quickest response time from Koingo.

The power of advertising is always devastating, and what I find enormously unfair, is the flag "not recommending Koingo's products and suggesting other options instead".

Again, not much interested in what occurred between the two parties, but putting that kind of stuff on a website with such a massive access base, basically not giving the counterpart any fair option to contest the charges (except publishing the information on their own website, which does not have the same level of visibility), is really appalling.

I thought little kids went to kindergarten, obviously I have to review my belief......

so this pretty much do what utilities like Onyx (free) and Cocktail (at a fraction of the price) have been doing for quite a while.
oh, an without mentioning Tinkertool System who also offers a lot more than this, yet again for a fraction of the price.
Apologies, but 40 dollars is a tad too expensive, also considering that nowadays you can purchase top notch system utility packages (e.g. TechTool Pro) bundled with other products for a price similar to this.

cheers

cannot download. The throughput form the website (through MacUpdate and directly), does not go over 205 bytes per second and download stops after a little while (my counter is saying it will take approx 13 hours to download).
Access to all other websites and downloads works a charm.
I am on a very fast connection.

thanks

Love the product. Unfortunately the latest version crashes immediately at log in. Need a fix.

Agree.......and why American English when the worldwide spoken language is English anyway?
Maybe it would be a better idea to change it back to Favourites........

sometimes I do not understand people.
I have been using Firefox over Safari for more than 5 years and never had an issue.
Maybe you should check if there is something on your machine bothering the behaviour of this browser before releasing comments on such a priceless piece of software which, no detriment to Apple, has infact been way faster than Safari up and until version 4.
Let's also not take into account that Safari does not quite agree wiht some "not so Mac friendly" web sites, while Firefox offers full compatibility.......
