I give it a 4 based on good experience up to now. BUT this new release has a nasty new bug. Opening a contact card from Mail (for example) with Cobook will crash the app...
Fix that and it's back to 4 with no caveat.

Onyx is fantastic and free, I can only take my hat off to the stand up folks that make it. Thank you!

On the subject of showing/hiding the Library folder. I have found that if you reveal it one time & then drag it over to you favourites (left hand column in the finder). It will always be there for easy access whenever you need it.

No need to make it visible or invisible ever again :-)

I have been waiting for something like this... Works like a charm so far.

Hats off to you sirs!

first let me say I think this is a great program...

However with the recent update / Beta I am seeing some strangeness when backing up with time machine. The process goes on for much longer than usual (perhaps never ends), it has been calculating changes for the last hour.

I am not 100% that onyx is causing this but it has never happened before and started directly after running an automation.

Wonder if anyone else has seen this behaviour?

thanks for responding. Yes I did do a restart.

After writing that comment however, Time machine eventually completed its back up operation and since then it has been working fine again. What ever it was seems to have cleared itself up.

Sorry to cast doubt on one of the best pieces of mac freeware out there and keep up the good work!
