According to the developer, this widget may now be on life support (see http://dividedsoul.net/RadarInMotion/) due to recent changes to The Weather Channel's maps and an unspecified problem processing the ones from NOAA.

That's sad, as this widget was top notch in my book. :(

Please note that there is a more recent version on the developer's web site — 1.0.3 as of this writing.

The original 1.0 did not work on my iPhone, but 1.0.3 did — no Sync or Apply from iTunes necessary! Awesomesauce! :)

According to the developer's announcement blog post for version 4.8, it now requires 10.5 or later — having dropped 10.4 (Tiger). This listing's requirements should be changed to match.

And from that same blog post, it would appear that the primary change in version 4.8 is for Mountain Lion's upcoming "day 1" support. Version 5 of Undercover is now planned for August.

It would appear that this is actually 2.2.0.509, not version 1.0 as the item's version — so the listing appears to need a minor update. To verify this I downloaded (used "trust me" since it didn't recognize the newer Safari) and expanded the extension.

Given that I'm already running 2.2.0.510 of this extension, I'm not certain why it wouldn't be what gets downloaded from the developer's web site instead, but that's a question for the developer.

To the MacUpdate staff: it's a little confusing that this application is listed as both free, and $7.49.

This release seems to improve startup time for the GUI fairly dramatically on one of my systems. While it's not often needed when you use the menu bar application (a great addition, BTW), it's nice to have the launch time improved.

The developer's web site link has a 1.0 release of this utility.
