Positive rating for very cool and powerful image processing. Points off in other important areas: a couple of crashes, memory leaks, app strips important photo EXIF data (date/time, camera, shutter, aperture, ISO, GPS, etc.), image rendered 3x for simple open and save, default iPhoto image save location is replacing original image deep inside (off-limits) iPhoto bundle. (:-( Mac UI seems unpolished; feels like pre-beta from new-to-Mac developer (using some non-Apple developer tools?), e.g. can't tell if current image has been saved, no in-app help, missing View and Window menus, prefs is (funky, resizable) modal sheet (rather than modeless window). App desperately needs a batch mode for easy unattended multi-image processing (otherwise time- and labor-intensive). Alas, company unresponsive to (pro software tester) feedback. If it was my app, I'd work very hard to make 1.0.3 (not 1.03) the fine app 1.0 could (should?) have been.

The worst thing about this app is that it destroys **ALL** EXIF data - camera, lens, exposure, GPS, date/time - and replaces it with four useless resolution, dimension fields and the watermark date/time. Totally unacceptable! Gotta find software that doesn't mangle invaluable data!

Decent, if not very good, free app, does the simple watermarking I need. For free, it's an excellent value. Alas, like a beta release, this 2.3.4 version has various annoying UI issues; it just doesn't have the care, polish, attention to detail, professionalism many other apps have - and that we serious Mac users expect. For this reason, I'd be reluctant to pay for a (similarly sloppy?) full version, even if I needed those features/functionality. Not enough hands-on time to comment on stability, but seems OK on 10.6.8.

Stability=0. Unusable; app crashes when adding image. (1.2, 10.6.8)

Unhelpful, cryptic "Network error: 301" error dialog on app launch or manual check.

Un-Mac-like app-modal dialog (generic question mark icon, resize control that doesn't work) could be Mac-like sheet, and with badged app icon.)

Anyway, MacUpdate info is out-of-date; current version is 1.7.3 and it's now called PriceWatcher.
