2.0.8 seems to be the last stable version.
I have yet to find any newer that works with extensions.
The newer ones also lag out and lock up a lot.
I keep trying the new ones as they come out, but I keep having to revert to good old reliable 2.0.8
The new versions even come with the subtitle extension already installed, but none work.
When reverting back to 2.0.8, I have to manually install the extension, but it works great. On the newer versions, when you click on the extension, the window doesn't even come up. It's totally dead.

it's really bad. I can't fix my profile. I can't rebuild, backup/restore, nothing!!!
I am still looking for a way to fix it without losing everything.

Error every time I start it;

The closest next best replacement I have found so far is Progressive Downloader.

I tried to contact the author for a bug report, but they don't allow it easily on their site, so I will do it here.
I like the program and hope they can fix it.
I have switched back to using the built in Mac archiver and unarchiver after having multiple fails with keka on larger files above 2 or 4gb.

Even though I have installed LAME multiple times, 64 and 32, this app doesn't work at all. Every time I try to save as MP3, all it does is error;
"Cannot save as MP3 because LAME.framework was not found. You might need to run this app in 32-bit mode."
Even when I do as it says and run it in 32 bit, It doesn't work.

Seems that none of these applications work or exist anymore, so I decided to make my own.
I just finished an AppleScript that works:

on open theFiles
repeat with oneFile in theFiles
set theFile to POSIX path of oneFile
set appPath to theFile & "Contents/MacOS"
set theName to name of (info for alias oneFile)

set theName to text 1 thru ((offset of "." in theName) - 1) of theName

set ShScript to "
cd " & appPath & "
" & " sudo ./" & theName

do shell script ShScript with administrator privileges

end repeat
end open

oops, one change. I tried it on an app with a space in the name (path finder) and it failed, so I made an adjustment;
----------------------------------
on open theFiles
repeat with oneFile in theFiles
set theFile to POSIX path of oneFile
set appPath to theFile & "Contents/MacOS"
set theName to name of (info for alias oneFile)

set theName to text 1 thru ((offset of "." in theName) - 1) of theName

set ShScript to "
cd " & quoted form of appPath & "
" & " sudo ./" & quoted form of theName

do shell script ShScript with administrator privileges

end repeat
end open

Doesn't work at all. Haven't tried since Mavericks, and all it does is hang at startup.

I like this apps potential, and still us it, but I also use ChronoSync because of the problems with BackupList+, which it seems there are no updates or ways around yet.
I really hope that there will be an update soon to fix the two biggest flaws in this otherwise great app.
Be aware of these critical issues;
1) It cannot replace bundles correctly. For example, if you try to update/copy your applications folder to a backup drive, instead of replacing the application, it will combine the contents of the bundles, and totally trash the backup file.
2) It cannot identify volume names correctly. For example, if you plug in a hard drive, or network volume with the same name as another volume, there's no way for it to know the difference. It cannot ID by volume serial number as other applications like ChronoSync can. I can't even use it if I plug another Mac into the firewire port in Target Mode, because it's not smart enough to tell the difference in the two volumes named "Macintosh HD", and this issues exists when connecting to another "Macintosh HD" over the network too.
If these two really bad faults are corrected, this application would be 1000x better.

I hope this helps other users be aware of these faults so they can avoid potential problems before they happen.
Do NOT backup bundles of any kind and expect that you have a good backup, and watch your volume names!
I am sure the bundle problem would be an issue for more than just applications as many applications are using them these days. (iTunes, iPhoto, etc.)

It doesn't seem to work at all. I was trying instead of Speed Download since that is now a dead product.
There doesn't seem to be any kind of plugin or anything to intercept the downloads.
Nothing installs in the Internet Plugins folder, and Safari just grabs the downloads. Never gets to J Downloader.
I can force by drag & drop, but that's the only way I have seen it work so far.

Still stuck on version 11. Even 12.1's audio is completely dead on Apple TV.

I am using an Apple TV version 3, and a 13" Macbook.

Mac OS X Lion, and Air Parrot to broadcast to the Apple TV.

Literally ALL other applications, including XBMC version 11 work flawlessly.

Something they changed in version 12 broke it. From the first betas to 12.1.
Audio is completely dead when trying to play on the Apple TV.
I have spent hours on this, and tried many settings and even added other audio redirector applications such as Audio Switcher.
Nothing works. It acts like they are completely bypassing the OS for audio.
Quicktime, VLC, Quick Look, iTunes, games, the Internet, literally every single application I can try works other than XBMC 12.x

I would use XBMC for Apple TV in a minute if they ever figure out how to make it work on an AppleTV version 3.
I may have to buy a used Apple TV version 2 and unlock it. This has been way too much trouble.
I was waiting to see if anyone ever figures out how to unlock the Apple TV 3.
For now, I am stuck with what I have.
I only hope version 12 can be fixed some day.
Just copy back in the audio portion of the code from version 11 if that's possible.

It still doesn't work at all. It just locks up.
It needs to get rid of relying on Spotlight. It would be ok to ask if you would like to use Spotlight, or find the file manually.
If people have Spotlight disabled, it just freezes up.
I had to edit the main.script and remove several lines to even get it to come up.

It looks like they fixed the window resize issue, however now there's another major issue.
It messed up my desktop moving all of my icons to the right like auto-arrange is on, but it is now.
There doesn't seem to be any way around this.
I cannot get my icons on my desktop to move.

I found a work-around to this problem.
Even though all keep arranged pref were off, for some reason, changing to sort bt name, then back to sort by kind reset the problem.
Icons now move freely on the desktop.

Doesn't seem to work yet.
I relaunched it several times, and not matter what I try, it breaks the window resizing ability of the Finder.
I cannot grab any corner to resize windows and the mouse pointer doesn't change or notice the corners.
Maybe I will try the next update.
