Well that's the beauty of free trials. You can try it and if you don't like it, you don't have to buy. The same apply to Billings 3 - existing 2.x users get a full 21 day trial and if they don't like the new Billings, they can easily revert back to Billings 2.x. You just have to rename a backup folder that we create during the upgrade process.

This is also the first time we are charging for an upgrade since 2005. The upgrade fee is fair and like I said - try and if you don't feel it is worth it, just revert back. You have nothing to lose.

There is some information disconnect here. Unfortunately MacUpdate crawls developer websites to see if there are any changes and automatically adds a version. In many cases they don't list the changes that have been made. We just weren't ready to update MacUpdate today.

We've made a lot of changes to address the many requests (and criticisms) made here and on our forums including such major things as statements, pro forma invoices, recurring invoices, consolidated invoices, a brand new interface and much more.

On our forums, the same issues and questions kept coming up over and over. We didn't answer each thread - we just went ahead and did the work to make those wishes a reality -- and it was a lot of work. We'd rather ship than talk.

This version is well worth the upgrade fee.

Not to worry. We have improved our support processes (we have more people now). There was a bit of lull after Billings 1 and that was because we chose to completely re-write the report engine and it took a **lot** longer than expected.
