A year later and this software still gives a spinning wheel when adding a new bookmark...

This show works well for the shows that are already listed, but the list is not updated frequently and there is no way to add new shows to the list yourself.

I've been using this for a while now and I do think it helps. The real question is why? I think it helps out most where there are some programs that have problems in how they handle memory, like Firefox. If this is the case, the big question is whether it doesn't just make more sense to identify those programs and quit and relaunch those programs rather than using iFreeMem. Quitting and relaunching a troublesome app seems like a better solution as it doesn't create a lag in the running of currently running apps as iFreeMem does.

Strange that the developer hasn't bothered to respond to anyone's comments here. Certainly makes me less willing to try this product. That and the fact that despite major bugs being listed in those comments (I haven't tried it myself) there have been no updates in a year...

I've been keeping a paperless office for years. I started way back in OS 9 with WorkingPapers, and have tried just about every solution for the mac. Yep is the best one I've ever found, and I personally think it keeps getting better. Certainly worth the price to have this kind of functionality on the Mac!

The thing is, this app won't have iCal integration until the 0.9 build - and by that time OmniFocus should be out ... so while it looks like a great app, I think I'm going to wait for OF.

Worst, installer, ever.

It won't install. And at Adobe's web site I have the choice of giving them all my personal info to contact tech support, or reading the knowledge base which offers this helpful suggestion:

Reinstall the Download Manager, and then download the order again (Mac OS X only)

1. Save and close all open documents, and quit all Adobe applications.

Note: Don't start any Adobe applications other than the Download Manager until the download is complete.

2. Manually remove the Download Manager. (For instructions, see Remove Adobe Download Manager.)
3. Call Customer Service to reset your product download.
4. Download the order again:
1. On the Adobe website select your region from the top of the web page.
2. Click Sign In or Your Account at the top of the web page.
3. If necessary, enter your Adobe ID and password.
4. Click View Order History.
5. Click the link "purchased in another Store" found near the top of the page.
6. If necessary, enter your Adobe ID and password.
7. Click the link for your Order Number.
8. The download link will be located under your item.

Before paying money for this, you might wish to check out some free alternatives, like Cyclone X:

This file failed to open a Stuffit 11 file. I can't blame the developer for Stuffit's lack of open standards, but it does limit the usefulness of this product

Mellel is a great program ... if you don't need to work in a Windows environment. As great as all its built-in features are, it still does a terrible job at converting between its own format and the .doc format, or rtf format when there are any kind of complex layouts. This is unfortunate, because I would really like to use Mellel otherwise. Instead, I have been forced to switch to NeoOffice which is free and handles .doc natively. NeoOffice is now Aqua as well, meaning it supports built-in OS X GUI features. Still, it is no match for Mellel in other areas. Hopefully the switch to an xml format will eventually lead to improvements in this area.

A universal binary build for intel machines is available from this web site:
[Version 0.7.1]

Luhmann had trouble on 12 Aug 2006
Web site says it has Universal Binary support but is untested. I don't know if this is an intel issue or not, but it quits on launch on my intel MacBook...

I love the app on my G5! I hope it can be fixed.
