Tired of the hate so I figure I'll give a positive review. Sure, the version number jumping is ridiculous (taking a page from Google), but the browser is rock solid (10.8.2, latest Flash). I am a web developer and use all browsers all the time, but Firefox always ends up as my default (Safari too limited, Chrome has the worst mouse gesture plug-ins I have ever seen, Opera... well not sure why I would like it or hate it)

Pro: Better than TmpDisk (Since you can specify a size over 1.5 GB)

Cons: First launch creates a 64MB disk with no dialog. It would be better if I didn't have to hold down option to get the "advanced" pane

Watch out for this app removing language files necessary for Adobe apps to update. Took me a while to investigate, so I thought I'd share: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4445753

Does not install on Mountain Lion! You get a security warning saying "Install USB Overdrive.pkg can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer."

Spot on Amergin! I fixed this by going to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > General, and checking Allow App Downloads from Anywhere.

I think they are some tiny things that need to be polished in a 12.0.1 style update, but overall this version launches in a fraction of the time of previous versions. I also really like the workspaces feature which allows me to have different tool arrangements based on my task at hand (ex. GIF work for a web site vs. Photo retouching). I did not upgrade, I uninstalled and started fresh.

Anyone who is missing their bookmark icons, Mozilla posted this to help (Wish they would just fix the inherent problem instead...)
