When FE was Free (with Linotype store purchases like iTunes) I could understand the occasional quirkiness, and did use it for font purchases (much more than $79.00 worth).

But as a commercial product the support really should be better. I wish they would have a non-commercial, ad/store supported version separate from the commercial version too.

Fans of the HP RPN calculators will find the layout less familiar, but for anyone just wanting a generic RPN calculator and not a clone of some lost favorite, satisfying.

Amid the Rogue family of games, there are those descended of Nethack (which are direct Rogue descendants) and those descended of Moria. Of the Moria family, Angband is the most successful, most consistent, and to my mind most fun.

While there are tilesets available to play with a modicum of graphics, I still always play text only. I know in my minds eye what the various creatures look like, and no game will ever match the resolution of my imagination, even if they might have superior framerates.

The problem with Boxer is that it hasn't been updated in half a year, is still tied to the old and much less nice Dosbox .72. I like the interface of Boxer better, but Dapplegrey is updated like every other week.

The ownership by Yahoo doesn't trouble me as much as what will happen if(when is more likely) microsoft buys Yahoo. As someone else said, Zimbra really offers a well designed Exchange competitor stack, and I can't see MS letting that stand.

Chax has now become my hero....

With the various Jabber servers I use doing server gateways, I don't need wide protocol support, mainly just XMPP, and with the advent of the intelligent Unified Contacts... iChat has become my default IM again!
