Just wondering, anybody familiar with this... does this really have accurate lyrics? And for more than just English songs?
I just spent over a week looking over on-line sources and a large quantity of "widgets," and not a single one of them was even close to accurate. I had ten English songs I tested with (no source worked for Asian, Russian, Spanish or Italian), and not a single site cleared half of the English ones.
The one song none got even close to correct was Big Pig's "Break Away."

This is completely dead. Not upgraded or bug-fixed since 2005. Cannot even be used anymore, as it's not Intel-64.
Somebody needs to use the functions as a template to create a brand-new drawing package for the next generation... drawing/CAD, not vector (we already have Illustrator for that).

Now that you cannot run 2.6.6 on any new architecture or Lion (or higher)... is there a DVD(/BD) ripper that is functionally the same? I have no need to rip commercial discs, but have to get material from digital cameras and DVD-Recorders. This old program was perfect, easy, and fast for that function.

Though this is one of the best plug-ins, ever, it still has some major problems, most related to matroska and subtitles. Hopefully those will be corrected in the next update.
For example, subtitles cannot have their size altered, and what should be a single line of text, becomes 4 lines of giant text that covers more than half the screen.
I tried to address this on the boards, but if you have any kind of vision problems, you cannot register... (captcha is INFINITELY easier) it's very unfriendly, and there is no way to report this to anyone. There is no contact information anywhere that does not require you to register first. I'm hoping that this will be seen here, at least.
So, for the next update, I'm hoping there will be basic subtitle typeface and size selection in the prefpane.

Wow, this is something that could be very beneficial, since there are many people out there that continually release bad mkv files (boggles the mind). Unfortunately I cannot use this because system and hardware requirements are incompatible.
Hoping that by the time this becomes finalized, you will have binaries for older Macs, or Windows.
Good Going!
Maybe we'll also see the first viable .mkv requantizer from you, in the near future.

Somebody said this is platform independent. Not even! It won't work on non-Intel machines and hasn't for a very long time. If I wanted an Intel machine, I'd have bought one.
Even though I can't use this, I applaud the effort to break away from M$.

Why do I have this sneaking suspicion that when the next update comes, it will only work on Snow Leopard?
I'm still waiting for Filemaker to correct several problems and limitations that have been hanging around since version 5.5 of FileMaker, itself, and can't even find the requirements info for Bento on their website.
Please, FileMaker, become a little more responsive to your customer base.

No matroska conversion function (that works), no test, no sale. (sorry)
The only video conversion still needed for the Mac must convert FROM matroska (including softsubs to hardsub support and multiple sound streams) consistently, and allow quantizer settings (none do, yet... most fail miserably and output looks look terrible as well), and a matroska recoder would be a nice thing to see, as well.

Ambrosia recently updated the screensaver, but the links don't reflect it, and it's not immediately findable with the site's navigation... It is located here, however:

The download and author's links are no longer viable. The page has been long removed, and there appears to be no way to download the file from the site (404 error). The links currently take you to the "Colors Magazine" website of the Benneton Group.
