I really like Mail Perspectives.

When I first opened Mac Mail with Mail Perspectives installed, I was about to agree with some that it adds clutter. But then I read the QuickStart Guide and actually tried Perspectives. It is extremely customizable and has lots of options and shortcuts. Mail Perspectives was very well thought out and extremely well designed! Since I telecommute and keep Mac Mail open all the time, Mail Perspectives saves time and desktop space.

The question you should be asking is NOT "Will you like Mail Perspectives?", it is "Do you need Mail Perspectives?"

Here's my prediction if you will think Mail Perspectives does NOT add efficiency to your use of Mac Mail:

If you have little or few mailboxes "On My Mac", and don't use Smart Mailboxes or Flags much, and use only one or two email accounts, and if you spend most of your Mac Mail time working from your All-Inbox, and you don't plan to change how you use Mail, your email is so simple that you may not need a time saving utility like Mail Perspectives.

If your email is complex and you want to save time, then I suggest you download the Mail Perspectives demo and read the QuickStart Guide and actually spend some time exploring Mail Perspectives. I also bought MailTags and Mail Act-On years ago. Since I use email as my main tool to communicate at work, all three are invaluable to me. All three work very well together and simplify and make using Mac Mail more efficient.

I had a problem updating Hear to the current version so I sent an email from their web site. I got the answer from Jeremy 10 minutes later! That's amazing! And of course, his solution worked like a charm.

If you haven't tried Hear, turning it on is like changing from Mono to Stereo. It is incredible! If you listen to music or watch movies on your Mac, Hear is an absolute necessity!
