This is arguable the best chess database for the Mac. The FICS client is lacking, but the database functionality is well worth the effort.

The great thing about this app is that it keeps in sync with the login items of Mac OS. If a new app adds itself to the login items Startupizer will notice you on the next startup and you can Import or Ignore that at. This gives you hassle-free control over your startup items. Nevertheless, I miss the option to delay (and maybe quit) apps after the startup. This would make Startupizer the quintessential login items manager for the Mac.

This is the quintessential sound mask app for your working duties. Definitively worth the money. Highly recommended.

What the app can do is great (5 stars), but the app itself is not so great (3 stars). Be very careful and do things step-by-step.

You should go for the Mac variant of Scid vs. PC called Scid vs. Mac.
Scid vs. PC is a improved fork of Scid with some new features and a better UI. http://scidvspc.sourceforge.net/
Should be listed here instead

I have used this for some years to speedup hearbooks and other audio content. ASD was the best tool available; even at 200% the sound is easy to understand and and just slightly skewed. But very good slow-down / speed-up algorithm are nowadays available in many different video- video and audio players, like VLC, MplayerX and Vox. I have ditched ASD for VLC, which has in my opinion an even better speed-up algorithm, allows 4x speed up plus a more modern GUI; and is also free.

Thank you Robotank.
This makes LiteSwitchX useless. Even the original Cmd-Tab facility can deal with multiple windows - and looks much better.

BUT an application switcher without this functionality is just to limited to be a "replacement" for the original one. Thus, things like that make little sense for me.
