Evernote is great at what it does, but the new interface is a step backwards wasting screen space and a bit confusing in some areas. Loading time has substantially increased too.

If you are looking for a streamlined mo nonsense note taking app, try nvalt.

I paid for v1 and they are asking for another $49.99 for a v2 that is essentially a minor update.

I've ditched this a long time ago and have been happily using the free Wunderlist on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

Long standing bug that has not been address is 1password switching my 15" 2011 MBP from the integrated GPU to the discrete GPU whenever the programme is fired up. Developer wrote back saying they are looking into it but that was over 6 months ago and many versions released since.

"Updated contact list view" (v5.3.0.1074) Really? It still wastes up to a 3rd of my macbook pro screen and still looks a mess. I remember Skype opening up to the public to help them design a new UI. Whatever happened to that?

What the heck happened to the old UI! The contact screen now takes up 200% more screen space than before! How can this be progress?

Small, simple and gets the job done. More customisation and an option to have text under icons would make it perfect.

No way to set application not to quit after main window is closed.

Would love to use this as my main image viewer due to it's speed, but the lack of colour profile support kills it for me.

Crashes on startup. Does not work.

Essential piece of software. Allows me to keep all my passwords in one central location and seamless integration with Safari and Firefox. No usage issues with it what so ever.

The only down side is the original price a bit steep. I got mine in the MU promo deal which made it more reasonable.

All text in TinkerTool's main window looks kinda funky. Font smoothing is either turned off or not working properly within TinkerTool. Apart from that everything seems to work fine.

Without any prior notification, v2.5 of smartbackup requires $10 payment for previous paid customers!

As a paid customer of v2.3.1, I took the mistake of updating to v2.5 and was not able to use the newer version until I cough up the update fee. There is no option to download previous versions on the developer's site. BE WARNED!
