This app is fantastic. So many things attempt to connect to the internet without asking me first and TCPBlock allows me to have control over my traffic. In addition to the privacy aspect, I like that I can shut down communication I don't need when tethering my mobile phone to avoid using more data than necessary.

One feature request is potentially integrating a process description in the app so when a process is attempting to access the network, a simple click would provide some information about what that process is. A related issue (mine not the app) is that I can't seem to figure out where the log file is kept in 10.8.

What a great little app. It does exactly what it claims to do which is add an option to randomize your MAC address.

One feature I would like to see in a future version is an option to randomize the MAC address on a timed interval. Having a button in the pull down menu that returned the MAC address to default might be handy also. Having said that, the app really is perfect as is, I'm just throwing out a couple requests.

CCC Is a great piece of software. I have been using it for as long as I can remember and it makes for very simple backups. It also enables very easy testing by using your bootable clone to experiment with. I am really disappointed in the price though. $40 is double the price of OSX Mountain Lion and although the software is great, it is really more or less a GUI front end for rsync. I am on the fence about using the old version for free or paying for the new version. This is a very quality product but the pricing seems out of line.

Doubletwist is a very cool concept. It has just the right set of features and it is very cool to be able to use non-proprietary software to sync a multitude of devices. I have tried to use doubletwist on a few Mac laptops, and it is just not stable enough for prime time. Constant freeze ups, and glacial file transfer speeds make it unusable unfortunately. I will keep it installed, and I will be looking for future updates. The one thing missing other than overall stability is a way to capture play counts.
