It keeps out of my way and backs me up. It's simple, and the cost can't be beat.

It would be nice if the app had some more features, like browsing online files, viewing status and progress, but then again the bare-bones-ness of it is nice. CrashPlan was much more sluggish, by comparison.

Because of this app, I switched from PC to Mac.

It has changed the way I use a computer, completely. No longer do I fumble through folders, or even have to remember where a file was. I just type "ctr+space" and type a few letters and WHAMO! there's my file.

You can also drag and drop into and out of quicksilver. For instance, I'll bring up quicksilver, type 'pho' and photoshop appears. I drag an image onto it, and the image opens in photoshop!

There's no end to what you can do, though, this just scratches the surface.

I wish I could give this more stars! I'm waiting for apple to buy and incorporate total finder into its OS, I don't know what I'd do without it.

I love the tabs, and the join view is great for moving files around (wish I had that for chrome!).

You won't regret this purchase. The benefit over Path Finder is this works on the native finder, so you don't have another app running.

I docked 1/2 point on stability issues, since it was crashing for a while when I dragged the icon from finder windows, BUT, I'm still giving it 4.5 stars here because the problems have been fixed and the developer actively develops and fixes bugs. Sweet!

I asked elsewhere of an issue I had with forklift, where after creating it's preferences, when I start it up it would take 100-150% of the CPU indefinitely. Removing all the files besides forklift.app would fix it temporarily, but it would recurr every time I started it again. I encountered this problem after mounting an SFTP server. I had no problem connecting to the server.

Is this fixed in this version?

I was evaluating Coda and Stylizer. I liked Coda, it looks good, but I couldn't get comfortable using it. Stylizer was cool, but it only did CSS, and it was buggy with webkit and ie compatibility stuff. I then tried espresso, which I really wanted to like, but just couldn't get used to it. Maybe I didn't give it enough time.

Then I found out Flux was on promo at macupdate, so I took a chance and bought it. After viewing all the how-to videos on their site (http://theescapers.com/screencast/), I found that this had all the features I wanted, and more. Being an intermediate coder, I was at a point where I had to choose to either become good at coding, or find a different sort of tool. With this, I can produce professional results, without dedicating the time to learning all the CSS styles (you may say I wouldn't have to, but I would, over time, as I developed more). Now, I can get the results right away, and also have something presentable in the meantime. Plus, it takes the confusion out of borders, spacing, padding, and margins (still don't get which does which).

I was also surprised to see support for less common CSS like pseudo classes, webkit stuff, ie compatibility, etc...

One thing I haven't been able to figure out yet is how to use it for editing a wordpress site, since it's server-generated pages. I think... there's a way, but I don't know it yet. It can edit PHP...

Finally, I had it crashing quite often as I tried to connect to a remote location (I didn't want to keep local files), which was obnoxious.
